Blake Price yesterday on the Price is right. its not everytime they talk about him right now but I have been listening intently to the media as we turned from 5 game winning streak to this lately and they go from scale to scale so easily to keep the ratings going.

What a luxury for Gillis that the rest of the NW division is craptacular, he's in no rush to make a move as the Canucks will still win the division and get at worst a 3 seed for the playoffs.

They gave up a guy who multiple teams wanted, was second on the team in hits, who fought, who bled for the team, who is smart, who has upside, who knew his role and accepted it > for nothing

I think it was stupid as well. I liked him on teh 4th line better than most we have had in a while. I would rather have lost Weise.

It certainly appears that there was definite interest in Volpatti (and I think the Flames were probably interested as well). I mean, I'd way rather have Volpatti than McGratton, but based on winning percentage, the Caps got a chance to claim him first.

so Kesler knew about it early just ignored it. Im telling you man Trade this guy he is no good for this team with the way he does not communicate. Hes becoming a liability. If he knew and didnt tell anyone WTF could have had him out that day and back 2 weeks earlier than probably making it worse.

ummm, didn't he have 2 sets of x-rays in which the break didn't show up?
and when he got back from the road trip went to the doctor because his foot still didn't feel right, so they could get a different scan?
Kes may deserve a lot of heat for coming back early last year, but i think that's offbase here.


btw, if the break is so non-displaced that it passed through x-rays, I doubt it will be 4-6 wks.
caveat, i'm no doctor, but i have played through a broken foot before.
