so thats the season for Kesler. even when he comes back for playoffs he will be useless.

I know we didnt start with Kesler this season and had a record start under AVs time here. but that was when our goalies were outstanding now they are average. makes the sending down of Volpatti even more puzzling.

Volpatti moves seems to be all about pinizotto being healthy now.
And so volpatti can learn to kill penalties in the ahl so he can come back up and take weise's job

if he clears. Im actually not caring too much about Kesler being injured now I think about it. maybe it forces Gillis to make a trade for a top 6 guy and when kesler gets back we have real depth again

It wasnt just about goalies playing outstanding while kes was hurt

The team was all about defense

When kes came back that first game v dallas they totally opened it up and it was no surprise it was prob the most exciting canucks game of the year ... But they lost

And if they want to return to winning theyre gonna gave to go back to the system of grind it out low scoring low chance safe responsible defensive games

Gonna be harder to do without volpattis edge though
