the 2 guys in my section with Malhotra jerseys will be sad..... but so has the guy in front of me with a Samuelson jersey so that section is used to it

Manny Malhotra placed on injured reserve - Vancouver Canucks - News

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that centre Manny Malhotra has been placed on Injured Reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2012.13 NHL season.

“The long term health of Manny Malhotra is of utmost importance to our organization,” said Michael D. Gillis, President and General Manager, Canucks Sports & Entertainment. “Throughout his career Manny has showcased his indispensability through skilled play, being a consummate professional and leader in the room while also continuously giving back to the community. so they arent using LTIR ... yet .... but they are using regular IR ... but still ...

Some pretty good game management in the 3rd period by the zebras last night. Man, Kesler is an easy player to dislike.

cant disagree mattola ... however lets see them play more games against non-NW division teams (ie this road trip)

imo this weekend was all about "oh goodie kesler is back lets open it up" mode ... they were too loose defensively friday thinking they could just exploit dallas's d and they didnt really want to grind it out fully against st lou ... preseason is supposed to be over!

with the lineup they have they are gonna have to play ugly ... as per usual, Vigneault is gonna make em watch video and say "SEE??? SEE????? ... you cant win this way"

I really wonder if there is anyone in the league who can play on a line with kesler ... seems like he wants to play a 1 man game

yeah Im seeing that about KEsler as well. he wants to be superman right now.

one question and its easy for me to say this now that we lost but

wouldnt you have started with Higgins and Raymond on the shootout? they were our 2 best forwards I thought last night. are the sedins getting even slower than before? its agonizing watching them come across the blue line (they keep control but jesus they are slow)
