i cant stand the guy. I used to listen to him when it was the only show on. I remember after he tried to get the canucks play by play and got mad when he didnt get it. I was glad when he left sports talk for a while (if I remember that correctly or I just blacked out again) but once he came back team 1040 and mojo radio was on then mojo went boom. ah Mojo

weirdest fucking thing today. I was at a trade show by cascade casino in Langley. outside was Mark Donnely (canucks anthem singer) hes sooooo freaking small now. but he was dressed liked a homeless guy coming out of the casino and getting on his bike. it was so bizzarre. I know it was him his hair and beard were immaculate but his clothes were so ragged. I just didnt know what to say so I just said hi I like your anthem

That being said, they are gonna be pushed so hard in this compressed season. With the injuries they will be playing alot more minutes. Plus the injuries (and the uncertainty of how refs will "manage" games) means the canucks are going to play that ugly defensive style they played down the stretch last season after daniel got concussed. Vigneault gillis and gillman have said to be prepared for a defensive strategy. Not gonna win us anything imo
