Sam Bradford, Vinny Curry, Brandon Boykin, Pick #20 Rd 1, and our first rd pick in 2016

Tampa Bay would be Crazy not to do this trade. Here is why....First off Tampa needs talent....Vinny Curry a Double digit Sack guy has loads of talent. Brandon Boykin a solid Nickel CB and 2 first rd picks.

Sam Bradford is 27 years old, was the first overall pick for the Rams but is in the last year of his contract and could be signed on the cheap by Tampa

Vinny Curry is 26 years old and he was a second rd pick of the Eagles he is in the last year of his contract and could be signed pretty cheap by Tampa, and has tons of potential.

Brandon Boykin is 24 years old and was a 4th rd pick. At the very least he is a solid Nickel CB, however for Tampa he could be an every down Cb.He also is in the last year of his contract and can be resigned Cheap

This would be a homerun trade for Tampa, they get 3 #1 picks Bradford who was a #1 and 2 other #1 picks, a 2nd rd pick in Vinny Curry and a 4th rd pick in Boykin. All of these guys can be signed to long term deals relatively cheap, and all of these guys have proven they can play, and play at a high level in the NFL. Tampa then could select a QB in rd 2. Eagles select Mariota.
Anyone that says that is not enough to go from #20 to #1 is crazy! Just the numbers Vinny Curry put up last year alone should allow us to go from #20 to # 7 add in Bradford, Boykin and 2 first rd picks??? HOLY SHIT!
Really we are overpaying! However, let's be honest...Curry and Boykin for sure are not resigning here so we will lose them both after this year anyway.

Tampa Bay would be crazy not to do this trade, yes. But the fans want a home run and might balk.

But Winston has Huge off field questions plus throw stupid int's....and Mariota has questions of can he play within a traditional NFL offense. If Tampa takes the high road they upgrade their roster with 3 good NFL players plus get 2 first rd picks. They get a QB who is plug and play and they can still draft a QB very early in rd 2.

I agree but would their fans who are expecting Winston. I don't think they have much concern about his character TBH with you. Tamps needs way more pieces than a rookie QB.

IS that what Tampa fans want Winston? I haven't paid any attention to fan blogs.

I would do it and I would have to think Chip would as well. Could Bradford ruin a potential deal like this by refusing to sign long term with the Bucs like he did with the Browns?

No, it's just that the Browns are disfunctional - esp the owner.

Your deluding yourself with this trade proposal.
- Boykins and Curry are backup/rotational players are on the last year of their contract. They really don't have much trade value. They are throw ins on a deal.
- Kendricks has real value. He would likely be included in any deal.
- At first glance, it is a reasonable thought that Tampa may decide they would like Bradford rather than Winston or Mariota. But you have to figure that they already explored that option when St. Louis put him on the market. Arguably Glennon is just as good a trade chip as Foles. Tampa could have traded Glennon and a #2 for Bradford and then used the number one pick on the top defensive player. If Tampa wanted Bradford, they would already have him. Bradford's value hasn't went up in the last month.
- Again, Bradford has a vote here. The offer may have been made and rejected as Bradford wants to go to a competitive team.

I don't think that Glennon is comparable to Foles. What has he accomplished?

- Both 3rd round draft picks.
- Both 6'6" 240
- Glennon has a nice little career going. 4000 yards, 29 TDs and 15 INTs. 83 QB rating last year.
- Glennon arguably was better than Foles last year. And played on a team that was a mess offensively with no Offensive Coordinator and a horrible offensive line.

Its an arguable case both ways, but its reasonable to prefer Glennon to Foles...or just to consider them to be the same guy.

I think Glennon looked pretty good in the games I watched, but for whatever reason, Lovie treats him like dog crap.

Tampa is going to take a QB. I don't think they are interested in a trade. And frankly, I think they may take MM now that there is more controversy with Winston.

I hate to lose a young pass rusher like Curry who playing part time in a defense that he really isn't suited for put up 9 sacks last year but in order to get Mariota I think they have to consider it. Then probably look at dealing Kendricks for a 2nd and 4th in order to get back some picks and address the gazillion other holes they have.

I think you only need to get to six. You could keep Curry.

Curry is a hometown kid, he will resign with no problem. Boykin however wants to be a number 1 corner. Chip wants no parts of sub 6" corners on the outside. But, im not so sure I like trading solid contributors, a good qb, AND two first round picks for any one unproven player. Trades like those kill franchises.

Imo, this qb class is most valuable in the late second to early 4th round.

Id much rather have the team we have now and maybe petty in the 3rd. Over any scenerio where we give up that much.

Curry is a STUD and a Starting DE in a 4-3 Defense with Pro Bowl potential.....Are you really gonna tell me you see Curry as a backup? Boykin is a nickel CB only because of his height, and Chip does not like sub 5'11 Cb's, that is why Boykin probably gets traded, howver he absolutely could start for another team.

The potential is there, but it doesn't change the fact that these guys are backups. Curry could not beat out Thorton, and Boykins could not beat out Fletcher. Add in the fact, that with any trade, these guys are essentially a one year rental as they will be free to sign anywhere they want next year, and it really limits their trade value.
