All I know is he's been extremely dominant ever since entering the league. How did he cost his team? I don't see it. What I see is this. His 3 year stat line:

260 rec, 3,833 yards, 14.7 ypc, and 29 TDs. The production speaks for itself. Playing for an inconsistent Bengals offense as well.
The inconsistency in that offense bothers me in general. They apparently had a great OC and a great oline and a great young running back and a good supporting cast of secondary WRs and TEs and yet every year they hit the playoffs they dont score squat.

27-10 Chargers
19-13 Houston
31-10 Houston

I might be overrating Larry Fitz.

I just have confidence in Fitz's abilities to work hard and come back and play well next season. His production over time speaks for itself and earns him on spot on most people's list. I understand the lack of production scaring you off though. We'll see what happens this season. I'm rooting for him. He really is a great guy.

He is a hard worker and a great guy, but the lack of production these past two years speaks for itself in my opinion. If he cannot even be the most productive WR on his own team despite getting more throws, I can't include him in any top 10.

You can't blame a playoff loss on a WR unless they drop multiple key passes at crucial points in the game. Those losses were due to an inexperienced team, poor play by Dalton at times, and bad playcalling.

3 pathetic performances gives everyone a black mark, imo. Maybe thats just me. WR is a really competitive spot. There are only a couple of locks and then there is a whole group of guys playing really, really well with good rapport with their QBs

I will concede that Green was a non-factor in the playoffs this past season. You got me there. I still maintain my high opinion of him though.

1. Calvin Johnson - This is guy is at the top of the mountain, and is not coming down any time soon. Taking any other WR over him at this point would be questionable to say the least.

2. Brandon Marshall - Truly dominates the game. An unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Does not have the talent level of Calvin, so that's what keeps him here.

3. Andre Johnson - The only consistency the Texans truly had this season on offense. He's always been there through everything, and defenses still haven't found a way to stop him.

4. A.J. Green - What can you say about this guy? Everything. Has all the talent in the world, and can make any play you ask him to. This guy is the future.

5. Demaryius Thomas - Mini Calvin. This guy is an animal. Plays with reckless abandon, and dominates games. He's right there with A.J. Green. These 2 guys will dominate the game for years to come.

6. Larry Fitzgerald - One of the hardest working, most likable players in the NFL. Hasn't put up wow like numbers lately, but he has played on some of the worst offensive teams you will ever see.

7. Antonio Brown - This guy has been the model of consistency on a struggling Steelers offense. He deserves to be on this list.

8. Josh Gordon - I struggled with him. Didn't know where to put him on the list. But I know he deserves a spot. This guy is playing like a young Calvin Johnson. A future star in this league.

9. Alshon Jeffery - The beast opposite of Metal Marshall. Had a dominant season, and is sure to continue dominating. He's just an overpowering force.

10. Jordy Nelson - You can put a lot of guys here, but I had to give it up to Nelson. This guy has been consistently great for the Packers for 3 years now. He deserves some recognition.

What do you guys think? A lot of great WRs in this league now. You could argue for a lot of WRs not on this list. Just wanted to get some discussion started. And WR talk usually gets it going.

I would probably have to throw Vincent Jackson on my list. Looking at this list, Nelson would come off of it for sure. Although the Giants suck, Victor Cruz is still an awesome WR. He might be scratching my top 10. I love Andre Johnson, but the guy just doesnt catch TD's. Pisses me off during Fantasy time. :gaah:

Vincent Jackson has never caught 80+ passes in a season. And Cruz caught the injury bug this season and only had 4 TDs. He has entering my top 10 last season, but got kicked back by Nelson.

I don't think you can argue any WR over Calvin Johnson at this point. He's the ultimate WR. Best part is. He's not a drama queen.

Larry's career was wasted in Arizona. I wish he could get out of there while he's got some left in him

Fitzgerald is the GOAT. If he had someone like Rodgers throwing to him he would be Jerry Rice 2.0

I don't know if he could've put up the same stat lines over such a long period of time like Rice did. I don't know if anybody can.

Yeah I shouldn't have said GOAT either because that made no sense. Anyways he could have been a top 5 WR all time.

Watch for this year's draft sleeper in the near future - Willie Snead IV out of Ball State U.

I'd include someone like Welker in the top 10 solely on consistency. 399 catches for 4549 yards over the last 4 seasons (so an average of just less than 100 catches for 1137 yards per season) is pretty good

Josh Gordon is easily #2. If you disagree, you are flat out wrong.

The excuse that people make for Fitz is the same thing you can say for Gordon except Gordon still puts up the numbers and can't be stopped.

Hell, if it wasn't blasphemus, he may be #1.

AJ has alligator arms (maybe because of that Steelers game awhile back) and cost his team in the playoffs. I actually think he is a tad bit overrated. He isnt as physical as a lot of the other receivers on the list

Nada...AJ has been hung out to dry by Dalton more than once so I can see why he might be a little gun shy with his build stretching out in front of a S. The point here is I think most of these guys would do the same thing if they didn't really trust their QB.

IMO he's a top 10 guy, but the guy that would have to come off the OP's list for me is Nelson...very good player, but he's not in the same league with Julio.

idk about #2, but this guy is top 5 imo. The thing is a lot of people haven't seen him much yet.
