I know the Stanford fans are already talking about how they would like to play in the Fiesta Bowl. If they keep talking it could impact the decision, seriously. If the fans aren't willing to travel all the way across the country then the Orange Bowl isn't going to risk losing out on the money.

If NU and Stanford were to meet, it would be the first time since the 1941 Rose Bowl game! I remember it well!

Stanford won't get east coast tv ratings either.

I think if Nebraska wins the Big XII Championship they'll draw Stanford in the Fiesta by some backroom Orange/Fiesta committee deal.

If Oklahoma wins the Big XII Championship they'll draw the Big East Champ.

The method to my madness is that Stanford and Oklahoma played in a bowl last year and bowl committees are leary of that.
Oklahoma/WVU was far enough back and an exciting upset that they might not be worried about a match-up like this...

the only reason i want to play stanford is because i think they are extremly over rated, i think we could beat them easily and the win would count a lot more for us compared to playing a shitty big easy team
