espn has just destroyed their message board community. the mlb board over there has lost over 1K posts a day since august 1st when they first introduced the new crap format.

I fail to understand how a message board with no quote features and nestled replies is better than the old format

Just about everyone on the Padres board is leaving. One of the people who posts regularly is part of a bigger only Padres site so they're all moving over their.

Whoever came up with the idea to change the boards over their should be fired. Their message board community will never be the same again. LOL!!

In all fairness they are changing their messageboard format to a horrible one from a horrible one. Oddly enough I think the boards they first had years ago when I first went there were the most modern and usable they ever had.

I was over there today and saw a thread "Does anyone know of a place we can talk hockey"? I checked out a couple of posters that seemed OK and sent them an invite via the private message system.

Comeds, my friend I disagree with you, I have seen a couple of changes there and posters bitched about them but this is way beyond bitching. People don't like change but will usually adjust. Look at our football forum and how it has grown in the last few weeks. Same story, they got feed up with the BS and HATE the new forum.

Most of the new posters have been good but there have been a couple that needed the ban hammer.
