espn has just destroyed their message board community. the mlb board over there has lost over 1K posts a day since august 1st when they first introduced the new crap format.

I fail to understand how a message board with no quote features and nestled replies is better than the old format

Agreed. I don't know much about anything.....but I know I like this board.

Since 2007. Maybe lurked for 6 months to a year before posting.

EDIT: It was quite fun posting with Wings fans all the way to the Stanley Cup win in 2008.

I started posting on the boards around 98 or 99. Mostly on the Tigers board though when I first began posting. Didn't start posting on the Wings board for a year or so after I joined.

Sadly lost some posters along the way. RIP estrepe1 (a long time Tigers poster who was one of the victims of the VA Tech massacre) and Backin72 (longtime Bruins poster and terrific guy to talk with).
