good move for this guy ... going to a place where no one will ever notice how fucked up the spelling of his name is

he can just concentrate on playing hockey now :noidea:

How can he abandon his buddy Nicklas Grossmann on the Flyers? Guy finally was forced out of the spelling closet after five-plus years of pretending to be something he was not.

Here's my thoughts on the Rangers getting Nash, in theory it sounds great, but in reality depth is what wins in todays NHL. If the Rangers get Nash they're basically relying on 3 or 4 guys to win them the cup and really jeopardize resigning some guys in the coming years. When you're top line heavy you get the 07 Senators, start out flying and fade down the stretch.

I really think that as superfans we tend to downplay some of the peripheral talent out there. The difference between LA's 4th line and Ottawa's doesn't look as distinct on paper because they won't put up top numbers anyway. It's usually about who gets hot at the right time.

Ottawa's third and 4th lines carried the play against the Rags. If the NY puts together a package to get Nash then their bottom six will suffer even more.

I agree with the notion that depth wins nowadays.

I also think Nash is overpaid for what he delivers and that whoever trades for him (if it happens) will probably regret gutting their system for a second fiddle, 70 point player.

I must respectfully disagree...if we look at Crosby, Stills and Nash, he's clearly third fiddle (or guitar)

NHL reject Bruins Chris Kelly 4 years / 12 million contract. Cap issues for the Bruins right now.

I thought you were allowed to exceed the cap by up to 10% during the off-season. Don't tell me the Bruins can't math properly?!?

Bruins issue sounds like it could be "tagging" problem. May have to wait until July 1.

Marty Gelinas joining the Flames as assistant coach.

how may times to you think his lesson will be:
"when you put the puck over the line, make sure it hits the back of the fucking net!"

not a bad crew you fuckers have put together
#Flames new coaching staff appears to be Hartley (head), Gelinas (forwards/PP), Cloutier (defense/PK) and Malarchuk (goalies)
