Looks like JD waited until just the right moment to pull the trigger on this one

Ha......But is Santana not the offset?
Sell high and buy low!

FWIW...Odor needs to be bumped down the order.

When Smyly comes back. Put him in the bullpen, keep Sampson in the rotation.

Probably both can start unless Hearn tries again which is doubtful in my eyes. But yes Sampson trumps Smyly

I just don’t know how you could justify sitting a guy whose hitting .345

I think it sends the wrong message. Hopefully he will be in the lineup somewhere tomorrow.

How good are those prospects?

Could anyone fill me in?

Burke looks like a starter who will be up this year.
Eli White pretty versatile player who may be a fill in at CF.
You have seen Byrd pitch. A little raw with good velocity. Not sure re rest but seems like heard good things re Espinal

He really does. Not sure why they keep him in the #2 hole.

There is no way that the pop up was a hit. Andrus should have caught that with no problem and then our announcers try to justify it as a tough play. He is an MLB player needing to catch a stinking pop up.

Everything Odor learned at ST going opposite field looks like it went out the window. Has a huge bat which is tough to control IMO

Yeah back in the day if I missed that I would have been kicking myself

I’ve noticed that he swings at ball 4...... a lot.

Way too aggressive still.

I’d tell Odor that yeah...... your average sucks, but you need to walk some when pitchers throw you bad pitches. If you continue to get yourself out, you’ll hardly ever see good pitches to hit.

It looks like he commits early to the pitch and gets fooled

8 ranger K’s at the plate tonight with at least 3 innings to go.

Not very good.

I love Jamey's insight and compassion, but he would never remind folks of a trade that failed. That being the case, him doing the opposite seems somewhat immature for someone getting paid to write.

Chris Woodward really seemed to be a fan of Matt Davidson when he was sent down in ST. Matt started off the year very slow. I guess that can be chalked up to him making the learned adjustments that had Woodward so excited for him. Now he appears to be heating up. In his last 20 AB he is hitting .350 with 5 HR.
