He's not alone in the stinks department
That is for sure. Of our youngins Heim and Jung are producing but the rest are really struggling. Then we have these old timers who are stinking it up as well.

Hope Eovaldi bounces back as we are going against a pretty decent pitcher tomorrow night who kicked our rears last time as we lost 10-1.

Lots of Mets fans chiming in for sure
I was going to throw them into the mix as well but didn't. They have their issues with Verlander being out.

From Jeff Wilson:

He hopes he won’t miss his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday. He said afterward that his main concern wasn’t so much his wrist but the potential that he would alter his mechanics if he kept going.

“I felt it a little bit warming up and thought it was going to loosen up,” deGrom told reporters at Kauffman Stadium. “It actually tightened up as the game went along. Could I have kept going? Probably.”

The Rangers will evaluate deGrom again Tuesday. He has a checkered injury history, especially the past few seasons, but is one of the game’s best pitchers when he is healthy.

He said that he thought the pregame soreness would go away as he threw and started feeling the adrenaline of the game. Instead, the soreness persisted and actually got worse.

As he walked off the field, he told catcher Jonah Heim that he was probably done. After consulting with pitching coach Mike Maddux and manager Bruce Bochy, the Rangers made the decision to take deGrom out.

“He’s got some wrist soreness, and we don’t want him to alternate his delivery or anything,” manager Bruce Bochy said. “He felt it, and it’s the right thing to do there.”

Despite the soreness, deGrom threw all four of his pitches and hit 100 mph with his fastball. He struck out five Royals and walked one before giving way to fellow right-hander Dane Dunning, who allowed one hit and one walk in 4 1/3 innings with five strikeouts.

Jacob deGrom isn’t concerned after early exit vs. Royals, wants to make next start

"On Garver, what the Rangers termed a minor knee sprain, has become a longer-term injury than initially expected. Asked if Garver would be ready on Wednesday when he’s eligible, Bochy said the injury would require about four weeks of time off. That’s the same time frame for Seager, who suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain on Tuesday."

And I would like to see a better strike to balls ratio.

Bochy was asked about the difference in Dunning this year on his radio program. He suggested it could be due to him having the hip surgery.

I thought Dunning pitched decently last year for someone with no more big league experience than he had. That was even more impressive given the status of his hip last season.
