So looks like Mendez is up for a bit. Not sure who long Moore will last

Hopefully they work on developing his breaking ball whether its the slider or curve, results probably won't be very good but I'd rather the young guy take his lumps than Matt Moore stinking it up

Kershaw's Back = Beltre's legs.

Kersh isn't getting younger and it'll be 2020 before we're sniffing October again at best. I'm totally against signing him unless he's providing a steep hometown discount.

And neither one of them will be with the Rangers in 2020, regardless.......But Kershaw's injury problems are a MAJOR concern, and why not? He's thrown almost 2000 innings.

If he's being promoted, wouldn't that mean he's moving along quicker than expected?
He is still below where he was anticipated to start out. Of course he could move up fairly fast, but he is definitely behind where he was thought to have started out with us. It may be temporary though.

I would be surprised if this is the last stop for JPM this year. If I remember correctly he was projected to make it to Frisco by next year at some point. Right?
I had read he would be at AA this season, but it was all just a guess.

We have plenty of time to wait for him.

What a cheap-punk-ass play by Kemp!

I found this quote on MLB.com last November about JPM.

He is considered to have the talent to start at Class A Advanced or Double-A once he signs with a team. However, his first assignment would depend on the team he chooses, and if they want to ease him into professional ball stateside.

He could very well be at High A ball by the end of the year.

I laughed when they intentionally walked odor like he is some kind of dangerous hitter.

And yes I know the pitcher was next.

If the rangers want to end this game and go home they should bring out Barnette to pitch.

Probably give up a walk off homer.

This team is so terrible at fielding.

We need some better coaches.

Not a fan of Iapoce and Banny for sure.

And yet you think he’s a trade piece that could bring something back in return... :L

Do you even read the stuff you post?

He’s already got the ball you morons. He doesn’t have to give a path if he’s standing there with the ball in his glove, you dolts.

Yeah I have been reading the major news outlets take on this and no one wants to call Kemp the POS he is. There is NO clear path rule when the catcher has the ball. Kemp made no attempt to slide, so he has no rule protection there either.

He just is a giant prick who got thrown out by 3 steps so decided to lower his shoulder. Deserves a suspension.
