So is cottage cheese but people buy it. Will gag a maggot on a gut wagon.
My dad used to mix pork-n-beans with cottage cheese. One of the many things about that man that perplex me to this day.

AgreeWell that article was awful.
It is really easy to be wrong about free agent pitching, especially when pursuing an ace. I would rather develop our own #1 and #2 starters and spend FA money on hitters. Of course, we have been woeful at doing that for quite some time.Injuries and possibility of not being able to extend Mazara and Gallo makes me not want to pursue him. I think we are all sick of injuries and injury prone players.

One way is extremely risky and the other is hard to do, especially for us. It is a tough decision on which path to go down.I think every team would love to do that. There's just no way to make it anywhere close to easy to do.
JPM is being promoted to Spokane. It seems they feel he is further away than we read that he might be.
know this ain't going to happen but:

If anyone isn't concerned about Kershaw's injury history, well, I don't understand that.
Never heard of Swanson.Scout Kip Fagg answered some questions on Reddit today, here was one response in particular that stood out:
"Not going to deny that we have struggled to develop starting pitching. I will take the blame on selecting a few duds over the years and injuries have played into some of that also. We are constantly trying to get better at both selecting and developing our own starters and truly believe until we do that it will become harder and harder to win at the major league level. You can not acquire young controllable starters unless you mortgage the farm to get. Hopefully some of the steps we have taken the past few years in our selecting and developing of pitching will start to bear fruit. Also we drafted Eric Swanson."

Most of the just drafted college players will fill out that Spokane roster along with some second year HS players.
Good news.
Why not? I like it
