Appearing on NFL Network's Around The League Live Monday, Jason La Canfora said he's been told the Rams plan to "blow things up" after the season, firing head coach Steve Spagnuolo and OC Josh McDaniels.Hardly a surprising report with the Rams sporting one of the league's worst defenses and a historically bad offense despite having the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year at quarterback. Injuries have played a huge part in the debacle in St. Louis, but there's really no excuse for going from 7-9 to potentially 2-14. In three years at the helm, Spagnuolo has gone 10-36. The only reason the Rams won 7 games last year was their historically easy schedule. Once they got a normal schedule they went back to being a 2 or 3 win team.

Does this mean Andrew Luck is in play for them? I would think so.

If StL loses out and Indy beats Jax in week 17 who gets the first pick?

Depends what the new regime thinks. If they don't feel Bradford is able to be a great to elite QB in this league (I know there are a lot of posters on this board that feel that way. He was not popular on on our board leading up to the 2010 draft), then can they really pass on Luck?

Particularly with the new CBA limiting how much rookies make.

it's not bradfords fault that the team has gone to hell this year, but they will do what they want

I don't think they go for Luck unless they can trade Bradford. Or draft Luck then trade him. Bradford was signed before the new CBA so he has a huge amount of money coming to him. I don't think they would give up on him with that kind of cash owed.

Just don't steal Fangio from us!

But if I were the Rams I'd keep McDaniels. He had very little time to incorporate his offense to a team that's still in it's diaper stages. Off the top of my head, they have Bradford, Alexander, Salas, Kendricks, Jason (The OT), Saffold (Who has disappointed this year), Hoownanewfasdfi (The TE), and Brit Miller.. Who I'm assuming are all 25 or under.

It's not. However, he has performed worse this year than last, and as I said, there were quite a few people who didn't think he was that good to begin with.

If you don't think he can lead your team to success, why would you keep him?

Projecting their opponents for the rest of the season, Indy would have a .5481 SoS while the Rams will have .5871. Indy has the advantage right now for the top pick. Vikes are at .5673.

I gave Bradford a pass this year because of the lack of offensive talent, but I can't wait 'til next year when I get to trash him for real! :)

Sweet! So unless there's a huge SOS shift the Rams can't get the first pick if the Colts lose to the Texans next week.

Here's hoping the Vikings lose out because I don't want the Niners to face Matt Kalil twice a year. And the Rams probably aren't gonna beat teh Steelers or the Niners in teh last 2 weeks.

stupid idea by the Rams owner. You don't win by blowing up your team every few years. The Rams were hurt by injuries and giving Bradford his 2nd head coach and 3rd OC in 3 years will be a big set back. I mean just ask the 49ers what changing offenses every year does to a 1st pick QB.

JLC said on NFL Network today that he thinks the Rams will make a serious push for Jeff Fisher. Good news for anyone who thought they might make a push for Fangio.

depends on if the HC has 'lost the team'? if he did, then you might as well change it now.
