^ Ha. My boat mechanic still has a 454 long block I had rebuilt for a boat project. Think it'll fit?

Nothing changes the look of a convertible like new wheels. At $130 per wheel, that's some serious bang for the buck. I got the aluminum ones without chrome. So, there will be some polishing in the future.

Thanks. The tires help as much as the wheels. The Coopers with 235s on the front and 255s on the back look serious as hell. The entire car now is a lie about how fast it is.

You can just barely see the disc brake pad on the front is red. I spray painted them when the wheels were off. lol

Oh god please tell me you had a jack stand on concrete or a pile of 6x6's stacked to hold the truck and that you did not rely on the jack to hold the truck up while it was on the grass. But since I am seeing a ton of home owner grade tools I am assuming you did not.

I'm hoping he didn't just lay his parts in the dirt.

Was thinking the same thing

I actually just changed my gfs brake pads this weekend. First time doing it. First side took some time just figuring what exactly I needed to remove to get the caliper off. The brakes were holding on the disk very strong still. Figured it all out and the 2nd side only took about 40 min.

Be thankful they weren't drum brakes.
I would rather pay $3K for 4 wheel disc brake conversion than to fuck with drum brakes.

Bout to do away with the 60/40 split bench seat in my truck and go to buckets. Strongly considering building a custom console to go back with, unless I find a suitable aftermarket one to use for now seeing as how I've been rather short on time as of late.

Ok, so last night I'm going to turn right and put on my blinker.
It's blinking twice as fast as usual so I know that I have a signal light out front or back.
Sure enough, its the rear right hand blinker that's out.

Oddly enough, this happened to my truck about 6 years ago and I could only buy a new bulb in a 2 pack.
So I have one ready to go in the glove box.

Just have to work up the "want to" to get out and change it.

Replaced all the windshield wipers on both cars last weekend.

That's about it for now.

I've been procrastinating for toooooo long, and am going to do the brakes on my '66 Plym VIP. It's drum all around and I'm starting out by converting the master cyl from the original single reservoir to a dual. I got the lines and splitter box from a recycle yard. Should help but wish I had the $$$$ to convert to front disc brakes.

Today I ordered a license place holder/frame thingy that says 1973 Mustang. If one more person asked "what year is she" I might have started getting creative and obnoxious.
