Trumaine Johnson - best 3rd round pick since how long! Guy is playing better.
Brockers - love this guy. Langford too - he's getting to be pretty solid and I think his contract is up.
Quinn is ballin! Ogletree has done pretty good and our O-line is starting to get in sync. Thank God for Zac30 and if we can get Tavon on the field more, it should open more up for Stacy and Cook. No idea why Cook has been so silent since week 1. And don't blame the dam OC on Cook either. You fellars blaming the OC now are the same fellars that said we needed an OC for more than 1 year. I agree that when we run the ball more, we are better. Our OC can get pass happy, like Jason Garrot in Dallas, but it seems to work for some teams. Players need to execute plays.

I would hope Quick and others come back from the bye week and start to pick it up.

Does anyone know why Pead isn't even getting snaps?

Hopefully these guys don't lay an egg at home against daaaa Bearrrrrs.

I'm done beating Bradford and his dead horses ass on here with yous. Doesn't mean I won't agree with you, but hey we all need to be a little more positive. We have some weeks left of football now and when it's over we will all be missing it and stoked about next year. We all are loyal fans to a flat out bad organization the past decade. :hope:

I'm like... :gaah:

Between our organization, some of the high/wasted draft picks, and the people who love Bradford's stats, I definitely can be a hot mess.

But I hold it together usually. lol Just keep it real is all I ask.

But this is a positive thread!

Honestly there have LOTS of positives to the season so far... especially in the last 3 or 4 weeks. I feel with one more solid draft this is a contender.

I was one of the few who applauded the Quinn pick, but he is proving me right (as usual!! LOL).
Stacy has finally found his groove... could be big things in the future there.
I also REALLY like Benny Cunningham. HUGE on ST and when he gets his snaps
Same with Bailey.... can't wait for the coaching staff to figure out how to put Austin and Bailey on the field together.

Yah know.... I have always liked Bennie C since preseason. He has just been waiting to get his shot. The one thing that does bother me about this coaching staff if the over-loyalty. Giving a shot to Stedman has been next to impossible and it took some time to see what Zac30 had as well. Makes you wonder. But, it does mean that we have some young talent and that's a good thing. Do we have a #1 WR? I'm not quite sure, but I think we have some talent - it's just going to come down to a QB getting into rythmn with his WRs.

Langford is only a positive if we can resign him, the better he preforms the more money we would have to throw at him. Might try to address him in the draft

Trumaine is a stepping up to be a quality player for us and I believe he has took over the other starting CB spot over Finnegan if I'm correct. I would like to see what McDonald can do when he gets back from his injury. In addition, we don't have a #1 WR Givens was suppose to do that but he isn't ready yet, maybe another year or so or pair him with a Veteran to look a thing or too from then it may be different.

Is it time for Spring Training, yet?

Oh, wait...... This is a positive thread.

I do like the D-Line.

ST are playing better.

I like Stacy and Austin.

The kicking game is pretty good.

There, that's positive stuff! :suds:

No one is talking about Saffold playing @ guard. To me this is a positive. Maybe this will help the run game even more. I have always thought that he would be a better guard than tackle. Surprised it took this long to play him there. But I thought he would play on the left side. Time will tell, heck maybe he will turn all pro there and sign a long term deal with some of that Bradford money....LOL....whoops gotta stay positive. My eyes will be on the o-line play the next few games.

Zeke2829. You have to read some of the game threads. We have been chatting about the Saffold move since last game.

Even If we were losing Langford, we could draft a big run stuffer somewhere in the draft. The rest of our Dline is stout and as a unit, a cheaper run stuffer might be a good idea.

Saffold is playing better. If we can control the clock/ run the ball versus the bears, we very well can win that game. Then who knows? Our schedule gets pretty hard.

I agree SJ76. We are nine deep in very good D-lineman with the starters and the second group of Sims, Hayes, Conrath, Cudjo, and Brodine waiting in the wings. If we add another large run stuffer via the draft, we will be even better.

#8 Cyrus Kouandjio OT Bama
#11 Ha-Ha Clinton Dix S Bama
2nd Bishop Sankey RB Washington
3rd Wayne Lyons CB Stanford
4th Jeremiah Attochu OLB Ga Tech
5th Gabe Ikard OG Oklahoma
6th Matt Hall OT Belhaven
7th Ryan Hewitt FB Stanford
7th Kenny Guiton QB Ohio St

According to this mock, Watkins is chosen at #10 but we pass on Evans or Marquise Lee to take Dix. I only take Dix if all three of those WR are gone by the time our second pick comes around.
In round 2, Murray, McCarron and Mettenberger were all still available. I like Sankey, but not 2nd round like.
In round 3, i think this is where we look at DT. Timmy Jernigan from FSU or Dominique Easley from FLA
In round 4, I think we could get the steal of the draft here. I have watched Lindenwood University play and Pierre Desir is the REAL DEAL. He can play safety or corner and play them at a high level.
Like the OG pick in round 5...a few good ones to choose from
I say go safety again in round 6 and not OT... either Ty Zimmerman or Marquis Flowers
I like the 7th round ideas, but instead of Guiton (since I proposed QB in round 2) I would look at Prince Shembo, OLB from Notre Dame...
