So you’re advocating that we should have drafted a lesser player at a position of need as opposed to the best player available at a position of strength? If so, that’s how busts are drafted.

How is Kool Aide the lesser player? If RR made the Newton pick, it would have been board meltdown. Did you really have DT at 36 in your mocks?

JJ fell to #11. There was no need to trade backup. Hey, im happy we took JD. If Peters decided that JJ was the guy you think he would have picked him at #2 with that deal on the table?

What I'm saying is if we stayed at 11, someone could have jumped to 9 or 10 and taken JJ.

Right b/c JD was his guy. But Minn and NE had Maye as their #1. Atlanta had Phenix over JJ. None of these 3 teams had JJ as their #1 guy. Denver had Nix as their guy.
