As I read it, he was paid out most of his guaranteed money, $6M ($1M base + $5M of $9M signing bonus). There were substantial incentive bonuses for catches and TDs, a $500k roster bonus and a $20 million option for 2020 -- all of which obviously won't be paid. The remaining $4 million of the signing bonus, the Patriots are free to go after. Assuming the NFL investigation turns up morals violations, they might retain it.

So, for those of you keeping score, the Antonio Brown 2019 saga has so far paid out:

1. Pittsburgh Steelers ---> 3rd round (Diontae Johnson) + 5th round (Zach Gentry) from Oakland in 2019 draft
2. Antonio Brown ---> $6M + availability to play in ~13 games in 2019... maybe
3. New England Patriots <---> 1 win against Miami, minus $6M ($5.75M cap hit)
4. Oakland Raiders <--- 3rd round + 5th round picks to Steelers

It's arguable that the Patriots didn't really need to have Brown on the roster against Miami, widely known as one of the worst teams in the League at the moment. Also, the 3+ women accusing Brown of various offences may also be paid.
