The Patriots Deserve a 1st Round Swap for the Jets Tampering with Darrelle Revis

It was openly stated on Sports Tonight that the reason for the light penalty on the Jets is because Ted Wells hasn't been able to connect anyone on the Patriots for Deflategate. What they have found is that the Colts told their team beat media before they reported it to the league. If they hadn't told their writers this would over and done, nothing nationally and the Patriots would be exonerated. Goodell is punishing his favorite team very lightly because he's going to announce that the Patriots were NOT complicent in the deflation of balls during the AFC Championship Game. He may have to fine the Colts for not following standard procedures for reporting "game" issues.

Wells has taken so long because they had to go back over the entire season and check all of the Balls that the Patriots used during the season. Supposedly they've found that the league officials haven't been doing their due diligence and checking the ball pressure prior to games. When you start digging for worms, you will always turn up other critters and the more you try to get of them, the more start to show up in the turned earth.
