Well see here is the thing. I think Bob is a GODell guy, not so sure about John. I heard he can be a real prick, worse than his father at times. He does not fuck around. I sense a turn in power happening from Bob to John, how much of a turn, IDK.

had it not been for Bob's rant before the Super Bowl I would have thought that too. I think he was drawing a line in the sand that he was tired of the league always pointing fingers at the Pats and had enough of the Pats name and players being tarnished without proof of anything. Bob Kraft has turned over most of the Day to Day operation of the Patriots to Johnathan. He's was the brains behind the deal that resulted in the latest NFLPA agreement. Bob got the recognition. This is why Johnathan has taken the lead in Deflategate and Goofbell is so nervous. Johnathan is not a big fan of Goofbell and he's totally capable of yanking the rug right out from under him. Only the Dallas Cowboys rake in more dollars than the New England Patriots and the younger owners are well aware of where the dollars stop. Bob Kraft is pretty much quiet in the background and I don't think he'll make any move to save goofball.

The longer this goes on the worse it is for the NFL. It's not a case of trying to find DNA evidence.

The NFL has fined the New York Jets $100,000 for tampering charges filed by the New England Patriots, according to Manish Mehta of New York Daily News. The Jets will not lose any picks in the NFL Draft.
The charges were filed when Jets' owner Woody Johnson said the team would "love for Darrelle to come back" to New York.
The Jets also filed tampering charges for comments made by Robert Kraft in regards to Revis. The Patriots will not be fined for those charges.

It was openly stated on Sports Tonight that the reason for the light penalty on the Jets is because Ted Wells hasn't been able to connect anyone on the Patriots for Deflategate. What they have found is that the Colts told their team beat media before they reported it to the league. If they hadn't told their writers this would over and done, nothing nationally and the Patriots would be exonerated. Goodell is punishing his favorite team very lightly because he's going to announce that the Patriots were NOT complicent in the deflation of balls during the AFC Championship Game. He may have to fine the Colts for not following standard procedures for reporting "game" issues.

Wells has taken so long because they had to go back over the entire season and check all of the Balls that the Patriots used during the season. Supposedly they've found that the league officials haven't been doing their due diligence and checking the ball pressure prior to games. When you start digging for worms, you will always turn up other critters and the more you try to get of them, the more start to show up in the turned earth. Ted Wells is starting to find shit where shit ain't supposed to be.
