Redskins outside linebackers coach Greg Manusky will interview for the vacant defensive coordinator's position on Tuesday, according to multiple sources. The Redskins interviewed Rob Ryan on Monday and will also talk with Jason Tarver on Thursday. They've also interviewed Gus Bradley and Mike Pettine. Manusky was a defensive coordinator for three different teams: Indianapolis, San Francisco and San Diego. The Redskins have said all along that they want to take their time on this hire and interview

Dude,.... we had Steve Spurrior AND Jim Zorn as head coaches. Aside from Tarver, at least the guys we are interviewing have actually DONE the job at this level before. Now when they say they are giving Ike Hilliard at shot at DC... then we should start to panic.

ok what superstar DC, who is available are we failing with ? bradley is playing the field , phillips got hired by the rams before our interview date , pettine is still out there

so what great DC are we not trying to get ?

Well, we wouldn't be in the mess if we would have moved on Phillips like everybody knew we should have. At this point Pettine is clearly the best option. The fact that we haven't offered him and have now moved on to Rob Ryan is troubling to say the least. How many people do we need to interview here? We just keep calling people in for interviews and the list continues to get worse and worse.

He is the only one that makes sense in this mess at this point.

Raheem Morris took a gig as a WR coach. But more to the point, we might actually have to comply with the Rooney Rule. Last time i checked Ike was still black, so he would technically cover the Rooney requirement.
