Read that the PAC has committed another 3 years to playing the bball tourney in Vegas. Good call. The stands are way more packed than when it was held in LA. Good call by the commish on trying it in Vegas and the increased cred it's brought the conf.
I agree. seems like it was mostly Arizona and Utah fans but there was a fair showing for Oregon too. not sure about the other schools as much.

I know USC had a pretty good turnout as well, especially for the game vs. UCLA.

Some spring practice news.

Looking like bringing back Clancy Pendergast as DC was a good move by Helton. Apparently, the defense is playing with a physicality and toughness that hasn't been seen since he was the DC in 2013. If that's the case, we should have a solid defense like we had in 2013.

A good neutral spot for the PAC CCG as well?

I still think they should rotate the CCG between regions. One year in Cali at one of their NFL stadiums. Then to Centurylink, Mile High, UoP, etc. I think we all agree Levi needs to stay off the list until they fix their fucking grass issues.

Big get for the nerds.

4-star pro-style QB David Mills (Norcross, GA) has committed to Stanford.

Kudos to Shaw as he keeps landing these pro-style QBs who can still do it with the legs when needed. Perfect for the system you continue to run to perfection.
Stanford education and Rose bowl rings. The sell is pretty easy these days to get the classes you've been landing. Impressive. Enjoy the run.

Was busy working yesterday, but I heard some rumblings about Duck recruiting analysts sounding the panic alarm about something, but couldn't dig into what was going down. Now it makes sense. Many Ducks thought this kid was already a lock as the next Mariota and a commitment to Oregon was a done deal behind the scenes. One even labeled this a "decommitment". That's how much they were already assuming he was headed to Oregon.

Didn't even make his top 8. Ouch.

I hadnt heard anything about him for about 2 years now. not even as far as recruiting went. probably cooled down on him since they got the commit from kelley.

Probably skipped Oregon because he's seen what has happened to QB recruits there since MM came on campus. It's a place to go and kill your career.

theyre staying in Vegas but starting next season they are moving to brand new T-Mobile arena which probably has a higher capacity than the MGM. hope the stands still look packed over there.
