Yeah, makes sense to get him in, from what I've seen, prukop clearly isn't the guy. But at the same time, he won the job. Seemed like you were bound to end up with the freshman at some point, but at that point it would be development mode. I suppose maybe he progressed, and they really think he's the guy who gives you the best chance. Or its a desperation move. Maybe a mix of all of those.
2 things. First. This is what our fanbase is calling the Helf Mary play. Second, Prukop has been solid. Not great, not bad, but he has done enough to win football games. This season's woes comes down to coaching. Our what would be good senior class is disabled by Chip mailing it in for final year of recruiting. The players aren't there in the upper classes. The ones that are there have not been developed well enough. I am a Helf guy. I love the man. But he is a coordinator who is in over his head. I am the last to defend him because like I said, I love the guy. Unfortunately, the data is in. It is on him.
