Wiz, you posted some sort of fact with a link, and I merely replied, and you want to call it a circle jerk?

Now maybe you like circle jerks?

I just call if off season fodder.

BTW - I don't know why you even replied in the first place, if you have no real interest on the topic. :noidea:

I'll tell you what I do know, the link I posted did have the actual names of the athletes attending and your link only associated the school with a total number. TIFWIW
I was simply trying to put an end to the argument between Jim and the ducks. Think I did a fine job of it. Was trying to get back to football talk. That's not working out so well.

Because your reading comprehension has failed you I will go slow and space it out.
I never made that statement.
I only countered your numbers.
I agreed to your statement that % wise does not back up what he said.
I still only argued that while he was wrong about that, so too were you about Oregon's numbers in track and field. and Wiz showed overall athletes in the games, not Track and Field, an argument that no Duck, me, him, or any other every tried to make.
Not true. I gave a follow up with the numbers of all track and field by school and said clearly Oregon has more than any other school, however they have 11 of 129 athletes which is hardly what was said to start this. You have 11-1 odds you aren't seeing a duck while watching US track and field teams this summer.

Well it's not like the uni or empty trophy case topics were any better.

Anyone else notice that a couple of the Bruin Olympic athletes in Rio were there for the Olympic event of Badminton?

So the original statement was proven wrong. That's all you had to say.

going beyond the NCAA #s then. this would also exclude mens rowing teams as that is not an NCAA sport.

I FUCKING DID LIKE 3 PAGES AGO

Well then quit posting. We saw that statement and knew it was wrong and found the numbers to prove it. You keep wandering off in other directions.

Even with Wiz posting numbers that show Oregon has the most Track and Field athletes.

Even with Wiz posting numbers that show Oregon has the most Track and Field athletes.

The statement was " if you see a USA track and field athlete, good chance it's a Duck". That's all everyone was refuting. And it was a wrong statement with over 140 track and field athletes. You're arguing something no one is arguing. And whether it's 3 ( current student athletes or 11 (including former students) it still doesn't make that statement correct.

He'd make a nice backup on our squad.
You can't really believe that wazzu.

Josh, hell even Browning would be your No. 1 and a Heisman candidate for sure over Falk, Bender or Gordon, as long as your defense holds up!

Neither Rosen nor Browning would've started for us last year over Falk, I mean he did beat you guys basically playing unconscious.

I love Falk but I think Leach loves his nuts. Leach never gave Tuel or Halliday the ability to call the plays at line like Falk did. Rosen and Browning are NFL star caliber guys, Falk is more of like a Peyton Manning where he has to beat opponents with his mind since nothing is standoutish about him

And I agreed with you on that. your statement you still cant admit to being wrong about, Oregon not having the most track and field athletes was just as wrong. and instead of admitting you are wrong, you changed the narrative to overall in the whole games, which no Duck fan had claimed, that was your own agenda to fit your argument.
