lol. Nice. You've been on the winning side lately. Since Notre Dame is coming here I'm going to the bama game but the stanford game is always a fun trip.

Yeah, for every Stanford win he owes me a handle of Jack, for the $C wins I owe him a case of good beer (He is partial to Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Rogue Brewing). We will, most likely, be shit faced quickly after the game.

I've gone to the last couple of them so I probably will . How about you? with the sanctions they have been more like practices but it's nice to get in the football mood. Im interested in seeing Sam Darnold. I hear he's been impressive.

I'm thinking about it. I got an e-mail offering me 4 complimentary tickets. I went season before last and enjoyed it. Hopefully, with the sanctions done, they will play it less like a practice.

I'm interested in seeing Darnold as well. I read in the paper this morning that the competition between him and Max Browne has been pretty close, but Helton says that Max is starting to create a little bit of a gap.

Thats $40. savings right there. I hope that Darnold has been playing way above expected because by now Max should be able to run everything. he's a five star #1 QB coming out of HS whos been waiting for three years (he red shirted his first right?).

Yeah, my guess is that at least some of the gap that Helton said Browne is starting to create has probably come as they have opened up the playbook and gotten into things that Darnold just hasn't been exposed to yet.

Yeah, Browne was a redshirt his 1st year.

I'm a little torn. Glad that Sam is doing well and could be ready if something happens to Max. A little worried that at this point there's even a competition with how good Max was supposed to be and how long he's been there. We kinda handed the job to Cody because he was there a while, knew the system and he's a good kid not because he was head and shoulders above the others in talent. Hope that's not the case again.
