:markmay: is such a dumbass...

Said Helfrich did a terrific job managing the Adams situation... they couldn't do shit until he got healthy. I guess when your star quarterback gets hurt you do a terrific job managing it if your team wins after he comes back...

Not sure how he did a good job, a below average coach could've taken Oregon's players and smoked our team. Helfrich is at best a coordinator at a major level program, unless it's all his coordinators don't know what an adjustment is.

I would expect most to stay that way but some are so small we could see a flip for Oregon or WSU

Looks like the PAC will have a solid final bowl record. Plus even though we share all the revenue from the bowls across the PAC, 10 bowls is going to shove a big payday in each teams AD budgets on top of the broadcast deal revenue.

Seriously? And Oregon fans are calling for Pellum to be fired and hire Wilcox just because he was from Oregon. Pass.
I wouldn't mind seeing Wicox at Oregon at some capacity other than DC. That man can recruit the pants off just about anyone at Oregon right now.

You still have a pirate as head coach. :kermit:

I didn't notice him either until they showed the replay. You could tell our linebacker was completely caught off guard. he didn't even turn to try and chase him until McCaffrey was already running by him. McCaffrey was 5 yards past him when he finally got turned and gave chase. Then McCaffrey just pulled away.

That play did it for me(well actually the Oregon game did but this was the tipping point) After either running or catching every third down attempt in the first half for Stanford you would think The D cord would spend a little time during half time making sure #5 had a guy on him even when he left the backfield. The guys F ing killing you and you let him roam like he's the 4th string never used tight end.
I have no idea what the conversation between Helton and Wilcox was but as soon as the game was over I told my friends Wilcox had to go before next season. Looks like Clay thought it should be sooner.

Uhhh huhhh. I'm sure Wilcox would of been kept on if that play didn't happen.

HCs hit their DCs with those anytime plays like that happen. What? Because your USC, your supposed to be magically immune from heisman level talent like McCaffrey?

Helton was going to clear house anyway as it was part of the terms of him getting the HC job. Wilcox and all these other coaches were gone before last nights game anyway. Can't wait to hear the same complaints from many USCers who think their D will magically be back to Pete Carroll levels and start calling for heads of the new guys by week 6 when it isn't.

Good luck with that.

Silly of us USC fans to want a competent D cord.
