So I hear Helton is firing everyone

You knew there was going to be some house cleaning. This was Sark's crew. He's going to want his own people in there, although it's tough because they still got to prep for an important bowl game and early December is a very important month for recruiting till the freeze occurs.

Huskies fired their WR coach and he's being replaced for the next month by a former WR at Boise St who has NFL and NCAA coaching experience. Our Dline/Special teams coach was hired as a HC this week, but he's sticking around till after the bowl so that will help a lot. We got 2 to 3 coaches to add to the team for 2016. But at least we're covered for coaching for the bowl game, but I'd like to have these vacancies taken care of quickly so recruits don't look elsewhere.

The firings include defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox, defensive backs coach Keith Heyward and defensive line coach Chris Wilson among others.

All of USC’s staff except for wide receivers coach Tee Martin, quarterbacks coach Marques Tuiasosopo and linebackers coach Peter Sirmon are due to depart.

There remain questions about the status of offensive coaches such as offensive line coach Bob Connelly and running backs coach and special teams coordinator Johnny Nansen

Figured out what happened to my Trojans last night. This loss was my fault.

I didn't do an avy bet, so I figured we were safe. Turns out, that's the reason we were able to come back and take the lead in the 3rd quarter.

However, I did just realize that I was wearing the wrong cheering jersey last night.

Seriously? And Oregon fans are calling for Pellum to be fired and hire Wilcox just because he was from Oregon. Pass.

Uhhh huhhh. I'm sure Wilcox would of been kept on if that play didn't happen.

HCs hit their DCs with those anytime plays like that happen. What? Because your USC, your supposed to be magically immune from heisman level talent like McCaffrey?

Helton was going to clear house anyway as it was part of the terms of him getting the HC job. Wilcox and all these other coaches were gone before last nights game anyway. Can't wait to hear the same complaints from many USCers who think their D will magically be back to Pete Carroll levels and start calling for heads of the new guys by week 6 when it isn't.

There was a time I was really hoping he would be named the head man at UW sometimes it pays not to get your wish.....

If that tweet was true what he said to Helton then he should be removed, you don't answer the HC that way...

I thought all along Pendergast should have been retained. Not saying he would have been on Pete Carroll status. Some of it falls on dline coaching. For as many highly rated 4 and 5 star recruits they rarely made impact.
