I like the Holy War in a bowl too. though I feel a little bad for Utah. they come over from the Mountain West where they played in the Vegas Bowl in their final bowl for the conference. get a sun bowl and now 2 Vegas bowls in a row.

Yeah, he must have really been nailed down, I didn't even notice him. It looked like McCaffrey was just left totally unaccounted for. I have no issue taking your word for it, McCaffrey is the type who can make it look like the guy who's responsible for him isn't even there.

I didn't notice him either until they showed the replay. You could tell our linebacker was completely caught off guard. he didn't even turn to try and chase him until McCaffrey was already running by him. McCaffrey was 5 yards past him when he finally got turned and gave chase. Then McCaffrey just pulled away.

Love the holiday bowl. Definitely one worth going to when your team's in it.

I just like excuses to go to San Diego. USC in the Holiday Bowl is just a really good excuse.

I know its not Pac 12 but I dont see how the Arizona Bowl coulndt have made a deal with someone so they didnt match up 2 Mountain West teams. cactus Bowl is right there in the same area and im sure seeing Arizona State vs Colorado State or Nevada while WV played the other woulndt exactly change up money or ratings for either.

Utah deserves it after losing to both USC and UCLA. They didn't get it done in the 2nd half of the season, for sure.

yeah but I bet if BYU hadnt decided to go there instead of to hawaii then Vegas may have picked UCLA and Utah could have been in Foster Farms.
I just wonder if the players would like to play a little different venue sometime

And the irony of sending the Utah and BYU fan bases to Vegas. Clearly wanting to see a boom in the local economy and casinos isn't a factor in their selection process...

well more the BYU fans than the Utah fans. Mormons dont make up as much of their fan base. in fact all the Utah fans i know aren't mormon at all.

Wow. There will be log jams on Dec 19th and 26th for PAC bowl games.

New Mexico (New Mexico vs Zona) starts 11am PST - ESPN, and Las Vegas (BYU vs Utah) starts 12:30 PST - ABC.

Sun bowl (Cougs vs Miami) starts 11am PST - CBS, and Heart of Dallas Bowl (Huskies vs. South Miss) starts at 11:20am PST - ESPN.
