:markmay: is such a dumbass...

Said Helfrich did a terrific job managing the Adams situation... they couldn't do shit until he got healthy. I guess when your star quarterback gets hurt you do a terrific job managing it if your team wins after he comes back...

Pretty full boat in bowls from the Pac. Great to see, although I still think there are too many bowls.
when there are 5-7 teams and 2 teams from the same conference playing each other then yes. I say drop at least 5 that would have left like 7 eligible teams without a bowl but im sure those 6-6 teams could accept it.

No. I think he meant getting the team on track after he came back. Which is fair, but I wouldn't call that 'managing' the situation well. I'd call it a good job getting the team back on track.

Agreed, even if it meant AZ being left out.

But yeah, 5-7? I thought it was a misprint. WTF is 5-7 doing in a bowl? Is that like a waiver or something?

Let me add, a good job getting them back on track after he struggled to manage the situation...

Yeah, I think bowls had to petition the NCAA to allow them to select a 5-7 team.

Have I mentioned I may be the dumbest person to ever graduate from Stanford?

Lol, he couldn't even believe that catch. I didn't watch the whole video, but it seems like whoever put it together tried way too hard to try to give everyone who's not McCaffrey equal scream time with McCaffrey.

But real quick i would like to point out 2 things.
before the season I said Oregon offense woulndt skip a beat without Mariota and they at this point are all of maybe a half step behind what they were last year. Passing took a dip but was still better than MM first 2 seasons. rushing total and scoring all still top 10.

2. there was the debate about who was better north or south. It appeared the South would be but looks like the north finished a bit better overall. including i believe winning record over the south and the champion being in the north.

Don't feel bad. Being the dumbest Stanford grad is still very impressive.

No question I think the north has the edge. But the conference as a whole was a mess. There was no real dominant team other than maybe Stanford, but that was only at times (and maybe oregon for the last quarter of the season). Throw out the bottom two and any team could compete with any other in the conference. Hell, even just throw out the bottom one, Colorado was even competitive this year.

I seriously doubt that conversation happened.
It doesn't sound like a real thing. I don't know how a conversation like that could even get out to be reported...

There was a time I was really hoping he would be named the head man at UW sometimes it pays not to get your wish.....

If that tweet was true what he said to Helton then he should be removed, you don't answer the HC that way...

I'd be very surprised if he actually said that.

Exactly. Wilcox was up in the coaches box and Helton on the field. Any conversation between the 2 of them would have been either through the headset or 1 on 1 after the game. So, either Helton or Wilcox would have had to report it. During the game, you'd only be able to overhear 1 part of the conversation.
