Based on season yes. based on second half no.
This is why I was never a huge fan of divisions, the 2 best teams in the conference can come from the same division and one of the 2 best doesn't get a chance.

Stewart Mandel at Fox sports
Rose Stanford
Alamo Oregon
Holiday WSU
Foster Farms UCLA
Sun Utah
Vegas USC
Cactus Cal
Independence Washington
Heart Of Dallas Arizona
New Mexico Arizona State Im not sure about this because the agreements are with mountain West 5 and CUSA 6 the MWC has 7 eligible and the CUSA has 5 eligible but with the team shortage Rice might get in at 5-7 and could fulfil the spot.

You must have divisions if you are not going to play every single team in your whole conference. Of course it isn't entirely fair. Not meant to be. I'm against going to 14 or more teams because it only gets worse as you add more teams.

So does everyone think the two correct teams are in the CCG? Just wondered.

The South is definitely correct. However, PAC-12 Commissioner Larry Scott needs to step in and right the wrong in the North. Vernon "Magic Man" Adams Jr. was hurt when Oregon lost those games. Clearly, since the playoff committee is going to see that Oregon is one of the 4 best teams in the country and vote them into the playoff, Larry Scott needs to name them PAC North champion and send them to the CCG. - OD

Exactly. The issue is not which is the best team but how can we make the most money.

If USC beats Stanford, Oregon should go to the Rose Bowl. Oregon beat Stanford and beat hell out of USC and would have a better record than both.

If there was a 4 team playoff for the PAC Championship who do you think would win it?

Who cares? We don't have one. I get what you're trying to say, but Oregon should have handled VA's injury better. It's not like they are the only team that lost a key player. Injuries happen and this "Oregon should get special treatment" or "what would happen if..." stuff from some of you Ducks fans is pretty ridiculous.

Did you expect any different? They win a few games over the last couple of years and their fans didn't take long to get this sense of entitlement. They have to win the award for the most elitist fan base of a team that hasn't ever won a title.

What's truly funny to me is that they are the first one's to bash other posters for using "excuses" and now that's exactly what some of them are doing. Amazing (but not surprising) that they can't see it.

You are absolutely right - UO should have had a better option at backup QB. Also they needed to not be so young in the secondary if they want to compete in top 4 or win the conference. (Recruiting) But you have to admit it is painful to watch the PAC Championship with two teams that are not as good as the Ducks.

Remember last year when they wouldn't shut up about "next man up..."

That worked real well for them.

:nono:
No sir, it is not in the slightest bit painful.

Championship games are about the teams that deserve to be there. Oregon does not. End of story.

No one has to admit that... about half the conference can hang with oregon any given day, even with adams. It's not like the last few years...

Aren't we in the PAC thread? UO has won multiple titles. The discussion was about the PAC Championship.
