That is a huge underrated advantage of going to a late bowl game that is not discussed much. UW is playing well the last few weeks - I would bet UW wins by a wider margin than UO.

You are absolutely right - UO should have had a better option at backup QB. Also they needed to not be so young in the secondary if they want to compete in top 4 or win the conference. (Recruiting) But you have to admit it is painful to watch the PAC Championship with two teams that are not as good as the Ducks.

No, it isn't painful at all. USC is down to our 4th string center, 3rd string middle linebacker, has a young, injury depleted secondary, lost Tre Madden for 3-4 weeks, their best receiver is playing with 8 screws and a metal plate in his right hand and a sprained ankle and lost their coach 5 games into the season. Yet, still managed to win the PAC South.

UCLA lost their top defensive lineman, top linebacker (and best player on the team) and their best DB and if they had won, would have been South champs.

Those are just the injuries from those 2 teams. I'm sure other posters can provide the same info. for their teams.

So, if both of those teams were completely healthy, I'm not sure they wouldn't be better than Oregon. The difference is, it's only Oregon fans who are whining for special treatment and/or coming up with "what if" scenarios.

That's what worries me most. In many ways, this is a completely different USC team than the one Stanford played in week 3. But our D is still vulnerable up the middle. We need to do something about that or the result will be the same.
