Yeah. He'll probably be able to go be an OC or position coach in the NFL for awhile. If he's successful and still wants to be a college head coach, someone will give him a shot, but it'll be a few years.
Has there been any updates with him? Is he still in rehab?

I have no idea. The only thing I've heard is that Helton talks to him occasionally and that he doesn't even try to offer any advice or anything. Apparently, the 2 of them get along pretty well and Helton tried to help him when it first appeared he was losing control of his drinking.

Maybe Carroll gives him a chance in Seattle. The offense up there could use something different.

Nothing he can do to help unless he puts on enough pounds in rehab to block.

We're going to need some help at TE now as well. Sarks gonna need some weight and elevator shoes.

Man, OD has to cope with the OC leaving, and the coming realization that oregon will not be in the playoff in the same week.

Poor little guy...

So does everyone think the two correct teams are in the CCG? Just wondered.

Smart move by Frost. Prove himself a capable HC at a smaller program, and those P5 offers will start rolling in each year and can pick the best one.

From the north? no question. From the south? Well, someone had to win the south, I don't think USC is the "incorrect" team anyway...

Stanford deserves the north title. Absolutely.

Utah blew it by losing to both UCLA and USC this year, especially UCLA late in the season. I think both Utah and USC have legit claims to the south this year, but Utah kind of faltered in the second half of the season while USC got better.

USC beat both Utah and UCLA. They have the better claim to the south.

Let me see if I have this correct...
Kelly is going to leave the Eagles after this season and return to Oregon. Helf will voluntarily step down to OC to make his return possible. Aliotti is going to see that the band is getting back together again and will come out of retirement to get that defense going again. With Kelly back, Lockie is going to transform into the Mariota 2.0 that he is supposed to be and the road to a natty will be wide open.

Do I have that right, or at least close OD? :noidea:

Im hoping Oregon promotes Lubick from WR coach to OC. If not I could see Frost taking him with him as his OC.
