I WILL BE HERE WHEN I WIN THE BET.

and by the small chancei lose, I will be here.

ENOUGH
Lol, can you give me a quick run down of what needs to happen at this point for you to win? You know, the sure thing, that leaves very little chance for me to win...

yeah, let me check how the conference looks (which any fan of a PAC team would do)

Stanford loses to Oregon and CAL.

Oregon wins outs

Wazzu loses one more game.

Easy as making clam chowder.

Ok, just so we're clear, oregon has to win out (which includes running through Stanford, USC, and their instate rival who will be looking to salvage some positive for the year), Stanford, who has looked like they could be the best team in the country at times this year, has to lose to Cal (in addition to the loss to oregon), and WSU has to lose at least one more (that one's not too far fetched). And then, of course oregon would have to beat the south champ (think you left that part out), who will probably be a team who put 60+ on oregon in Eugene.

But there's a small chance of all of that not happening. Right?

Oregon wins PAC you get my avy of choice for 6 months.

Oregon makes playoffs you get my avy of choice for 1 year.

Oregon doesn't win PAC and I get your avy of choice for 6 months.

that is the deal we agreed to.

Thanks for clarifying.

On a similar note, still hoping for a playoff spot, huh?

team hasn't been hotter.

teams in the top 10 are falling.

absolutely.
So, do you think that the comittee is willing to make the statement that wins and losses, and the first half of the season don't matter? Or do you think that uncy phil will slip them a large suitcase full of money. It would have to be one of those two...

I trust with a few of the top teams falling, and Oregon being healthy and winning out will be enough for the Ducks to get the look.

Win out and you are looking at a top 10 win vs Stanford and a redemption win vs Utah.

Also I'm sure USC will be ranked when we play them.

Again we are healthy, which we weren't at the start of the season.

Committee picks the BEST 4 teams.

No DOUBT in my mind Oregon would be one of the BEST 4 teams in CFB come December.

So, you think there will be a bunch of three loss teams as the only options for the last spot? Or, do you think oregon would deserve a spot over a one or two loss team, because they weren't healthy through the whole season?

think Oregon can get looked at over a 1 or 2 loss team considering they weren't healthy for the first half of the season.

Well, good luck with that. That's not how it works though. Injuries are part of the game, you don't get pass over teams with better records because your quarterback was out.

Ohio State managed losing 2 quarterbacks last year. Did they deserve a pass because of it if they lost a couple more? No, instead they managed to kick the shit out of you with their 3rd string QB in the title game...

You went from your 'next man up' bullshit, to 'they will overlook our losses because we weren't healthy all year.' :ipw:

I looked up the contact info for the pac 12, if anyone would like to drop them a line and request that they either get competent officials, or at leat pay to have the current ones' heads surgically removed from their asses...

Pac-12 Conference
360 3rd Street, 3rd Floor
San Francisco, CA 94107
Main: (415) 580-4200 • Fax: (415) 549-2828 // 549-2829

There just aren't many competent officiating crews in cfb, period.

I might write to them about nuking the Crap 12 network though.
