First things first, ESPN has hinted that if WSU beats Arizona this week they might bring gameday to the Palouse. Let's start with the pirate hosting CGD on Halloween. I mean how perfect is that? :noidea:

And can you even imagine how drunk the Cougs will be for that? CGD in the Palouse on Halloween......

This MUST happen.

When it's on the west coast they start live at 6am. That means most of the kids that would be there are still drunk from the night before. Projectile vomiting would be a thing for sure.

I so want that to happen.

It would be 5-2 WSU hosting 6-1 Stanford (5-2 if lost to UW)
there aren't a whole lot of other options
Florida vs UGA
Oklahoma State at TT
Miami at Duke
Notre Dame at Temple

I posted a thread with the article, but it feels like ESPN really wants this to happen because of how dedicated they have been to the streak of flying ol' crimson. You know they care about the pub from that when they paid to fly the flag they had at ESPN headquarters to Arizona to make sure one was there on time when the official one got stuck in shipping in mississippi.

I'm sure they want to do a piece on the streak (again) and feature the pirate on halloween. I mean the stories just write themselves for that match up.

They didn't say WSU had to win this week, but it just feels like that gives them the best chance.

I think they should go away from the "big game of the week" mentality for every single week.

These feels like the appropriate time for this...
I completely agree that it seems like CGD really wants to go to WSU. This would be the first game in a long time that would make any sense.

Cocksuckers had us playing night games almost EVERY WEEK..Now that were back to playing like crap games are back to 1-2pm start times.
Well I'll be headed to my second late night game in a row next weekend man. Better not also do us like that the following week against Utah.

Gotta hate how the PAC games these days are "TBD or TBA", who the fuck can plan for that shit when ya have to travel for hours to get to and from a game? I won't go to a "TBA" game anymore...I need to know the game start BEFORE I buy cotdamit.

RIDICULOUS!

Sadly, the times are not set for, and no consideration is given to, the folks who attend the games...

1989?!? Seriously?

In 1989 Oregon went 8-4. The next 3 years, Oregon was 8-4, 3-8, 6-6 and 5-6. The earliest you can truly claim Oregon's success starting is 1994 when they went 9-4 and finished #11, then in 1995 they went 9-3 and finished #18.

However, they that followed with seasons of 6-5, 7-5 and 8-4.

Then in 1999 Oregon finished ranked #18, #8 and #2.

They followed that by finishing unranked in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

Most people look at Oregon's run beginning in 1999 at the earliest and many don't credit the run starting until 2005.

That depends on how you define "run." The 2005 definition is defined only by having a winning season. that's fine and all, but it doesn't describe how Oregon got there.

It was the hiring of Bellotti that started the whole process. had rich brooks not hired him, I doubt that we ever reach the Rose Bowl in January of 1995. Slob Toledo just couldn't get it done as our OC.

I don't really care what the blowhards in the media think. I was there and I lived, I breathed it.
