Many of those stats were career related and the end of the post said how it was all relevant. Colorado has now lost 14 straight conference games with 13 of them being by 20 or more. Yes, everyone compiles big stats against them and that point was kind of made clear in my post wasn't it? Not sure how you all miss such easy to understand points. :noidea:

The fact that UW's score of 59 was the highest since '74 goes to show how consistent they have always been at not running up scores. They never once topped 60 in the Don James era despite having the talent to easily reach 70 or more in many games. UW didn't attempt a pass in the second half and only got close to 60 because of two defensive TD's in the second half. That's why those points were of interest. Not that they came against Colorado, but that they showed the class to let off the gas entirely at half time after they had already pretty much won the game in the first half.

Maybe it's just me that found it interesting that UW hadn't had two defensive scores in a game in over a decade, but that doesn't have anything to do with who it actually came against to break that streak.

I swear duck fans all believe the world revolves around their team and their idea of what stats are important to them. Again, it's not a shock that none of your clan understands what those points were.

Even against Colorado that sounds good, Wiz. Looks like you're about ready for the UCLA that Zona let get away last night.

AP Poll for the week out:

5) Stanford
6) Oregon
13) UCLA
21) ASU

Others receiving votes: USC (10), Washington (9).

And ESPN has announced that College Game Day will be at USC this saturday for the Stanford/USC game.

Also still not sold UW beats both UCLA and Oregon State on the road which would likely drop them a spot. especially if that loss is to OS

Understand the lack of faith in the Dawgs, they need to prove they have turned the corner on the field in big games...

IS Boise the slot fav here again this year?:noidea:

Utah State right now.

BYU has already accepted a bid to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl... Eagerly awaiting a PAC opponent.

That one will not be easy to get a PAC victory. BYU plays well in bowl games.

I don't think most UW fans would expect us to win out at this point. We have all watched Price play on the road for 3 years and expecting him to suddenly become a road beast isn't very realistic. They are going to need Sankey and the defense to do most of the heavy lifting if they want both of those. Possible? Well of course. Probable? Not in my mind. I think they can/should take one of them.
