The PAC-12 has never been really known for its gameday experience.
They do a lot of things well, but overall those stadiums collectively are not that particularly great.

Maybe with the new money, expansion, and network stuff....the experience will improve.
But, the PAC-12 has always been a little bit behind the other power leagues.

You rarely see 3 day drunken bender tailgating antics. It is more subdued and civilized.

PAC tailgating is definitely a different type of experience. At USC, a lot of folks have their tailgates catered.

It's kind of unique in it's own way. For example, at UCLA games you can tailgate on a golf course and at USC most of the tailgates are on campus or in Exposition Park.

From what has been described, it sounds like Mamba's tailgate is the one that comes closest to the "3 day drunken bender" tailgating experience.

And we definitely don't do any "teabagging" in the PAC.

I think this quote from Joshua Garnett:
“It’s even better than I thought it would be,” he said. “It was a great decision (to attend Stanford). I’m definitely glad where I am right now. It’s a great place, great team and a great institution. Everything is going really well.

As well as this from Coby Fleener:

Dear Young Coby,
DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY. I wouldn’t be here typing this, and you wouldn’t be there reading it, had I not made the best decision of my life. I’m sure you’re probably skeptical, and going to be a smart young man by writing out a pro’s and con’s list, so let me help you out. I’ll help you make one based on what I know after going to Stanford.

Oh and in all this talk of O-line depth recruiting, Stanford got a commitment from the #2 Center in the country just before I went on vacation.

Washington State only holding 32k is pretty shocking.

So you want to align with a duck? A beaver wanting to support a duck? And he says we have voodoo? :laugh3:

How the fuck does that happen? :noidea:

I mean at least we are supposed to have the hatred of the ducks in common. Don't know a single dawg that hates the beavs.

You should hand in your pelt for your treason.

I WALK a tight fence line here, keep persuading me Whiz...I still could go either way here WIF the right lil push per square incher.

Cal’s recruiting loss has turned into a gain for a fellow Pac-12 member.

In a press release Tuesday, head coach Mike Leach announced that Chandler Leniu has signed a financial aid agreement and will play for Washington State this season. Because he did not take any classes at his previous school, Leniu will is eligible immediately.

Leniu originally signed with Cal in February of this year. The reason for his moving to the Cougars from the Golden Bears is unknown at this time, although the speculation centers on the academic side of the equation.

Leniu was a four-star member of Cal’s 2014 recruiting class, rated as the No. 11 inside linebacker in the country. Along with running back Tre Watson, he was the second-highest-rated recruits in this year’s class behind wide receiver Erik Brown.

Seriously, WSU is a rolling tailgate party 24/7/365. That's all they do there. No one can beat the cougs when it comes to drinking or parties. Well, at least no other Pac school.

ASU used to be good, but it's been decades now. They actively went after tailgaiting for whatever reason and the fanbase got a lot more fair weather when the Cardinals came to town just as they made a poor coaching move and slumped in the late 80s.

They're putting about a quarter billion into SDS and reducing capacity in the nosebleeds, so I'd expect sellouts to be the norm going forward.

And to your second point of midget DB Arizona's tallest projected starter is 6'0".
Arizona State only has 1 over 6'0"
Cal has no projected starter even at 6'0"
Oregon only has 1 over 6'0"
WSU only has 1 over 6'0"
and there are a couple going 2 of 4 starting DB under 6'0"

ASU doesn't know who its starters are going to be yet really, but it's possible/likely they'll have 3 or all 4 at 6' or taller.

I had my fair share of friends growing up who attended Wazzu in college. Wiz is right. That is one hard drinkin', hard partying school.

Probably should re-phrase my statement to: I should have moved to Pullman 30 years ago.

My guess is if you live in Pullman you have to drink to fight depression or to make the girls look doable.
