Saints trade up from 27th to 20th to take Brandin Cooks. Cooks on that turf with Brees throwing the rock = perfect situation to succeed.
Wow. If say the Yucks did win the north this year and the Spoiled Children win the south, this is one of those scenarios where I'll wish the big one hits Santa Clara and the stadium collapses during the game. Talk about a no win situation. Blah....
Yes, just because you spew crap like this, doesn't make it true either.
I pulled up the Alabama schedules, they've been doing this since 2004.
Look, everyone will acknowledge that an SEC conference schedule is going to have tough games, every year. But one has to go back a long ways to see Alabama taking on the best in the country in true home and home contests outside of the South. The last one was 2002-3 against Oklahoma, the Tide lost both games.
NOW WE SEE WHY! When an SEC team does such a thing, they might LOSE!
Since then, Alabama has lined up mostly punching bags to play at home in the only games they control, those 4 non conference games. Oh, they'll play perhaps one decent team, but carefully arranged to be a very winnable one, like Penn St. or WVU teams that were a shadow of their former greatness. Or if they do play a good team, get in in a neutral game scenario in which your fans will greatly outnumber the foes, like in Atlanta or Jerry's World.
But every year, every stinking year, they play an FCS school, and an entire parade of weak FBS programs, a virtual bum of the month line up, all carefully placed between tough in conference games. Almost always, the week before the Iron Bowl is a hapless blood donor, for example.
But we get it, those 4 or maybe 5 tough conference games justify the cowardice in the OOC, right?
Careful smiles. Don't get 4d20 upset or we'll get another one of these type posts:
I don't care where USC kicks the crap out of some North Division weak sister in the PAC-12 CCG. Levi's stadium, a parking lot or the backyard at Mamba's house. We're kickin' alla yer asses!!
BITCHES!!
Awww c'mon, you know you like us better than the Yucks!!
I am with you. Getting beat up by that 2011 LSU team was just fine by me. It was an indicator of where the Ducks really were. I take that 13 point beating all day down at Jerry World vs a game vs Idaho State.
Yet Oregon has played an FCS team every year since 2010
Why are some of you really just not getting it? As long as the SEC is perceived as being the top conference and they are playing 2 or more FCS teams a year there is zero chances the other conferences are going to back off of them as well.
This circle jerk of fans simply saying your team does it too is a non sequitur because of it.
Until whoever the top conference is collectively decides to stop trying to do as very little as possible to still claim they have a great season there is no chance in hell the power conferences are going to get better. Change does not come from the bottom up. It doesn't, it can't, it won't. And unless you are all fucking stupid you understand that. So all we have here is trolling to cover up the indefensible.
Too bad we will never see how Bama would do playing at BSU because if it's anything like this BSU v Bama battle the tide would be bleeding all the way back to tuscaloosa. But then 4D20 is no clinton dix.

who does that?
who does that?
Yes, it's the fault of the SEC that Washington plays such a weak schedule.
He blames the SEC for Washingtons schedule.
As if Washington is even close to being able to compete with anything to start with.
Well quick glances at most of your schedules shows many teams no one has ever heard of. If some of them are obscure bottom dwelling FBS teams mixed with those FCS then so be it. You can't deny most SEC teams play 3 terrible OOC teams a year. When you add the bottom dwelling SEC teams in the IC schedule you get half a season of garbage.
But feel free to stay in denial. It seems to be quite contagious down in the south.
The old, if we can't actually debate the real topic we will simply change it ploy. Predictable.
I blame the SEC for all of college football, not UW or any other specific team. I thought I made that quite clear, but yet I find myself having to keep trying to keep you on course.
What is to deny? We win National Championships, you bitch about our schedule and blame us for your schedule, as if Washington is even in the National Championship hunt to begin with.
You: SEC Schedule sucks
Others: Yours is worse!
You: It's the SEC's fault.
You blame the SEC because you can't get it done on the field. Period. All this talk about schedule this, and schedule that and the bottom line is that until this past year with FSU(who btw had the weakest schedule of any national champion in BCS history) nobody could get it done on the field when it mattered.
So you sit around and bitch.
So you get the foundation, but simply can't understand the structure on top of it.
I want to see quality football. I've said at least 20 times that covers all of college football. It has nothing to do with who can actually beat who. I'd rather see my team get smoked by LSU than drop 60 on nobody. But I'd really rather see top teams from all of the power conferences play each other more, like they used to. I love college football. It seems you love winning even when the games are meaningless.
Every time you post it just shows how desperately you are trying to defend the indefensible.
