#1 Hundley statistically regressed.

#2 Mariota was PAC QB of the year and Offensive MVP his Freshman season.

Second, who's regressed statistically?

Sure MM may only have 9 career INT's however 4 INT's in his last 3 games.

Sure BH may have 9 INT's last season however only 1 in his last 6 games.

MM - 4-2 in his last 6 games, 7-0 in his first 7 games

BH - 5-1 in his last 6 games, 5-2 in his first 7 games

MM's all purpose stats in his last 6 games: 12 TD, 4 INT, 1836 YDS
........ in his first 7 games: 28 TD, 0 INT, 2544 YDS

BH's all purpose stats in his last 6 games: 17 TD, 1 INT, 1555 YDS
........ in his first 7 games: 18 TD, 8 INT, 2084 YDS



TBH, both are set to have great years however I believe only one of the two made a mistake by staying another year and he doesn't wear True Blue and Gold!

Been werking too much here lately my PAC brothers AND I gots family in town to boot!

Agreed. They're replacing basically half their defensive starters and that WR corps is looking really thin. Helfrich can roll the dice on the one man show thing again, but Mariota injury factor shoots through the roof.

Oregon only had 70 tackles for a loss last year. Lowest total since 2006. It could be worse in 2014.

3 L's is a good call.

Don't know about three but at least a couple and that WR issue might hurt if Marriota has to run some because he's missing familiar faces at WR. I doubt he's going to have the willingness to take alot of hits with so much on the line with him.

Naw, Oregon's schedule isn't tough enough to overcome their base talent to the tune of 3 losses. If that actually happened people would be declaring it to be the official end of their run for sure. If Mariota is healthy all year they win 10, but one of those losses will be a sizable upset. Like 20 point favorites and lose sort of game.

But losing one is more likely. Two I would say is a stretch but certainly possible. 3 would be catastrophic with this team.

I really can't believe Vegas odds to win the whole thing. Oregon has become the West Coast's media favs.

I don't like it. Phil Steele, Vegas, the polls, everyone is all over Oregon and Mariota's nuts for 2014. I was hoping they would come under the radar this season... But nope.

I don't mind talking about any other team in the Pac, keeps the focus off me Beavs.

Oregon has been awesome for quite some time now. I just see them coming down to earth a bit in Mariota's final year. They probably will be in the top5 all year, I wouldn't expect less from them. Just think the spread run option gets a bit more passing installed this year, lot's of short stuff in their HUNH O.

Nothing wrong with that and it will help protect MM thru the coming year.

The Ducks should be favored in all of their games. The only way they would have any chance of not being favored is a bad loss to sparty and UCLA on a roll before their early season meeting, but even then UCLA couldn't be favored by more than 2 or 3. Outside of that long shot they should be favored every week.

Being favored and winning are two different critters.

And if I'm going to be right on the 20+ point upset and it isn't UW, I sure hope it's Oregon State that gets it. Nothing like having a bad loss to end the season on.

They are slowing it down for certain situations this season. At least in Spring Ball they have been. The offense will look different.

They are going through an overhaul. They are physically reshaping the front 7 to deal with the Stanfords. This may effect the speed of the defense. We shall see.
