I don't think Stanford wins that game this year, but Oregon sill slip up somewhere. Bank on it. I just don't think Helfrich is a great coach and I see a let down game just like last year.

Well the guys on this coverage haven't stopped talking about the HUNH since the coverage started.

They sound remarkably like TF12. Lots of thinly veiled insults about UW and why Sark wasn't able to do what they fully believe he will do there. No doubt 7 Sark has been successful at getting the local media to buy into like he did here. How long until they all learn that charisma doesn't win rose bowls?

Just makes their next two meetings in '15 and '16 have more drama. Both teams will be into year two with their system. We will see how 7S responds to the boos that will inevitably come when he jogs out onto the field.

Hard for any north team to maintain a rivalry with either south team in cali as we only see them 2 of every 4 years. This rotation thing sucks.

Going to get worse if the Pac goes to 8 conference games at some point like all of the other conferences have. Might only see some of those 2 out of every 5 or 6 years.

Sark is an average coach with a hell of a coaching staff along with him. I think that the Trojans can have success based purely on the talent that Sark will be able to bring in there. As I said, not Pete Carroll success but enough success to keep Sark around there for a while.

Pretty sure right now all northern teams not in california play either USC or UCLA every year. It alternates. You never play both. We play the rest of the south on a longer rotation. You play 3 of the remaining 4 every year. You end up skipping two teams from the south every season: One is a cali team and the other is not.

The cali teams all play each other every year no matter what.

I did not mention domination either Sasquatch, I mentioned your best chances at a NC had been ruined by Stanford. 2009. 2012. 2013.

I openly admit the Ducks own the nerds in the modern century....but the nerds love to bitch slap the ducks when it matters most.



Oh and I will take an Avi bet for the fall now, even expecting the Card to lose in Eugene (I will be there for the game it looks like).

Agreed. I think eventually he gets offered an NFL job and will ditch USC just as he did UW though.

I honestly think USC is his dream job. I don't see him leaving that school unless he is fired. I don't think there is any other job at any level he would leave them for.

He made it sound as if UW was his dream job too. There have been plenty of college coaches who leave their college "dream job" in exchange for the NFL. If and when the NFL comes knocking on Sark's door, I don't think he will be able to resist the allure if he has been at USC for at least 4 years.
