Just want to let you know Dave Christensen has things going in all the right directions up here at Utah. He's yelling at everybody on the offense and they're responding in a good way. Reminds me of another guy who came in here 10 years ago and kicked ass. I like this guy a lot. He's got my attention. I can't believe Missouri let him leave.

You have been around us long enough to know there is no hatred of Alabama. In fact you know I had a good friend die of brain cancer that was a life long die hard bammer and out of all of the SEC they are the team I root for over the rest of them. You know this. You also know your HC was inspired to get into coaching by our greatest coach so there is a connection there. But my picking on you and your ilk equals I hate bama. Here's the reason 'Bama and the SEC get picked on. If someone starts a thread that is in any way critical of 'Bama and/or the SEC, it is a guaranteed 10 page thread.

I'm aware of one D player that got arrested unless you know something more than I do.

I mean the two idiots that should be kicked from the team are the two offensive geniuses that attacked Seahawk fans IN Seattle. That's the side of the ball you should be picking on. The dip shit on the D that stole parking passes because he was desperately broke is someone I feel sorry for. I mean of course they should make him pay for it, but his case is hardly the best material for picking on. The two who attacked fans in our city, that's a whole different critter.

As for fielding a full defense by the fall? Well they do have injuries and holes. At least two of the secondary will find incoming true freshmen starting. I mean yes, one of them is Budda Baker and all the hype that comes with him, but still. They will put 11 bodies on the field no doubt, but how solid will that defense be?

The saving grace is they have a cake walk 4 game OOC schedule to get up to speed and they have a top flight head coach coming in. Oregon State? Can grandpa find a way to keep up with the joneses? I mean his schemes were awesome... in the 90's. I mean the incoming kids must know something. Couldn't even beat the recruiting class of a mid-major HC that had one month to throw a class together? Oh yes, we know you are going to tell us about Riley's ability to shine turds and make something out of them. Petersen did that at BSU too, but in his first cycle at a major school he scooped up 4 4* kids including stealing one from Oregon. He doesn't have to shine up turds. Riley's a class guy and everyone respects him, but to say his best years are behind him is an understatement.

And it would be the exact same thing for every other team on here. Look at Texas and Nebraska, or Texas and A&M, or Ohio St bashing threads, etc. I bet if there was a thread started between Washington and Oregon it would go 10+ pages, they go on quite a bit in this thread.

Nobody is going to really sit around and let people bash their team. I got you to respond by calling USC cheaters. I don't really think that and generally disagree with the notion that 1 player screws the entire university and fan base over - but I said it to prove that point. The difference is the forum isn't 24/7 bashing of USC.

But I'm guessing the Alabama ones will get shorter and shorter, because I keep seeing less and less Alabama fans posting at all. Maybe just an off season thing, I dunno. But last year during the off season I saw more posting more often.

You have such anger issues these days...all directed @ my lil' school now. Grandpa Riley? HA! We may have seen coach P's better coaching dayz at Boise and in college already. What he brings to the UW is an unknown for sure. Past success does not always bring a pot of gold with ya know. Maybe the "Big City" lights end up being to much for him...who knows. For all the recruit classes you guys get, not much of an ROI to show for it. At least my guys have improved minus last years free fall. I'll give ya that beatdown the Huskies laid on us in our house, made no sense, but happened. A run game is what we need for sure...balance. Looking forward to whatever happens up in Washington this year, sure the Beavs will play well.

As for Riley looking on the career downside? Well that statement by you is surely just jest. Believe that and you'll be disappointed year after year.
