The ENTIRE Pac12 should be undefeated by week 3 mamba...

Game don't start till Pac teams play Pac teams in my OP.

1. I think SC and Stanford play in week 2.

2. Dont the Beavs have an FCS school within first 3 weeks...

Had a feeling I was gonna see something like that from someone, just not you brudda...COLD, very COLD.

Tinkle me Beavs have a good run game this coming year, makes Mannion twice as dangerous. Civil be @ our house this year. Put that date on your calender, I'll be there barring any tragedies in my life come then.

all in fun bother. You threw some cheese right down the middle of the plate.

And with the lineup in this thread somebody was going to see it and knock it out of the park.

Just happened to be your bro from down the road.

I suppose it's better to be hypothesizing about possible poll standings weeks into the season than the typical what we will be rated before the season starts nonsense.

Several teams in the Pac should be solid enough to find themselves in the top 25 at least through mid season and at least 4 of them could be in the top 10 if they don't have any mistakes.

UW being under a new coaching staff and playing a rookie QB as well as replacing a couple of key skill players and having a young and untested secondary will likely keep them either out of the top 25 or at least toward the tail end of that range at least well into conference play. Their OOC is also total garbage which won't help them get any kind of credibility early.

^ Year in review showed me what a roller coaster ride it was, and I can't blame the QB either. Start 6-1 should have been 7-0, going into that Stanford game in Corvallis I went to. IF we coulda, shoulda, woulda that game...who knows. Team flops over and gets pumped for the rest of the season. A little bright spot @ Oregon and then we end it beating a wounded and depleted Boise State to end it all.

Disappointing to say the least...

I still think the Beavs are the "wild card" of the Pac North this year and with just a lil' more luck some better results. Time be running out for the Beavs with the Huskies gaining, Ducks as dangerous and Stanford reloading.

Season starts mid June.

I am excited.

Good News, "Chipper" is a believer in SC QB's that crap out in the NFL, now he wants to sign "Dirty Sanchez"!

I'm not sure what any of our fans really expect out of this coming season. I know I'm super excited to see it and so are the rest of the dawg pound, but how many wins? :noidea: I'm sure for most of our fans the excitement is about the program moving forward and the outlook for many years to come more than what this coming season will bring. Still, a great season really isn't out of the question as the cupboards weren't exactly bare and this is a proven coaching staff with a plan.

I sure hope you are right that your window of opportunity is quickly closing. But even more so for that evil empire that lives next door to you.

Living in WA and talking to my friends that are UW fans seems like even though Seven Sark got them up but then left 7 is the expectation this season.
Hawaii, E Washington, Illinois, Georgia State, Cal, Colorado and Oregon State and WSU are the winnable games but some expect a drop in at least 1. i think they should be able to win all these without a upset. so I am guessing at 8.

I see it going anywhere from 6-9 probably with 7 or 8 maybe more realistic, but the point is there are a lot more unknowns this year than normal. The exciting thing is they could surprise people and out perform their expectations and if they do look out. If they don't they may still not see much more than a minor impact on recruiting as they are in their first year here.

I mean they can't have a catastrophic season and not make a bowl or something crazy, but they have a lot of room to grow this season without as much pressure as Sark had last year.

I was surprised by how poorly Matt Barkley played with the Eagles this year. I had watched a lot of him at SC and he appeared to have all of the tools you look for. Same goes for Mark Sanchez too. Sanchez's future is likely as a backup, which is precisely what he would be with the Eagles, so no need to be concerned.

Barkley can't shake this guy.. Didn't he have to wait until Sanchez left SC to get a shot to start?

Barkley was a true freshman when he started, Snatchez left after his junior year.

Barkley has all the tools.... Except one thing. He plays with a 10lb concrete block on each foot.

That dude cant even move in the pocket.
