I seem to have a problem with your tinkin on "owning" me Beavs since Coach Pete joined the "BIG BOY" league called the Pac12. Since me team squashed the last club he ran, I see no change just because he changed his diaper colors this year to purps-n-gold. Sure ya have a lil ammo to sling at me about D11 schools, but there is nothing to see about that when it comes time to play in Pac schedules. While I do "like" Coach P, he has to show his meddle on the field of play week after week...don't cha tink? Other wise it is nothing but speculation on your part. You boyz have got starting QB issues while my QB kid just tore through Pac Ds last year, including yours.

Relax...enjoy the off season and congrats on your new Coach. After that no one really knows...

Seemed more like a recruiting ploy than anything else. They did some Tombstone thing last year about being tough cowboy sort of guys last year after fielding probably the worst defense in the conference the previous season. Now they're trying something different. I guess there's a niche. The truth of the matter is the teams that previously ran super-fast-mode-no-huddle (Oregon and ASU) in the Pac 12 intentionally backed off a bit on the speed last season. That might have just been because they were the two highest scoring offenses that boat raced half of their opponents and didn't need to run that many plays though.
