They gotta have some kind of excuse to make themselves feel better when they get their asses kicked by nerds!!
I don't where in my post you see any sign of an excuse.

Erickson's success at OR St was because coach Riley had started coaching OR St in '98, struggled w/that season, but turned them around and had such a great '99 season, he was lured to the SD Chargers and Erickson was brought in. Erickson took Riley's kids to the Fiesta Bowl and beat (Top 10 at the time) ND and it took a few seasons for Riley's kids to move on and Erickson's recruits to fall back to losing. Riley didn't like the NFL and asked for the OR St HC job back and OR St gave Erickson the shoeprint to the backside. He showed up at ASU later to keep ASU from getting relevant.ASU gave Koetter an extension on his contract, revoked it, bought him out, and then hired Erickson. Biggest mistake AD Love ever made and she made a few. Erickson's success in his first year belonged mainly to Koetter.
Shaw will not leave anytime in the next couple of years. He is home, he is happy, and he loves molding future world changers. I doubt his style would work quite as well on older players in the pro's.
For those who have not watched it, here is his TEDx speech.

Errrm they won one with Dennis Erickson like 10 years ago then he came here all old and almost ran our program to the ground.
Only teams who really had success throwing were Stanford, USC to an extent, ND, and UCLA in the third quarter. OSU and WSU put up decent numbers due to the amount of times they threw the ball. The one problem the secondary had was dealing with tall, physical players. Nobody on the defense is taller than 6'1''. Stanford on Saturday split a TE out wide most of the night and he torched Nelson on slants.
That was actually a really good adjustment by Stanford. That TE always lined up to the field side which is where Nelson plays and Graham never adjusted because we need Irabor on the boundry in run support. I think Irabor would have been physical enough to cover him.
Umm no they didn't. They went to the Fiesta, not the Rose. And lets also not forget that your boy Graham is still playing with some of Erikson's recruits. Not saying he isn't a great coach, just stating facts.
Terrible argument.
This is basically like saying that OSU was undefeated......except for EWU, Washington, Stanford, Oregon, ASU and USC.

While the NFL money is always attractive, I don't see Shaw leaving Stanford anytime soon. Even if most of the alums don't get into the athletics passionately, Stanford had found a system that works for them and it's working like a well tuned machine.
The way they absolutely manhandled the Ducks this year and made their players cry like little girls on national tv was one of the most impressive displays of smash mouth physical football you'll see out of the PAC.
The PAC as a conf is just balling right now with the best collection of coaches of any. Maybe he will jump to the NFL and his stock is really high right now, but he can wait out for the right job to come along.
Another PERFECT example of UW jelly attitude towards Oregon. Spit the cock out already. UW fans simply cannot converse on any topic without bringing up Oregon. Get over it......
Morning!

Keep trying to convince the world that you don't care about Oregon, but nobody believes you.
Here's to ANOTHER 10 years.
Damn. LInes starting to show up. The books favoring PAC teams in all 9 bowls: WSU -3.5, USC -6, OSU -2.5, Washington -3, Oregon -13.5, ASU -13.5, Arizona -7, UCLA -7, Stanford -4.
