After googling him (since theres no link and I didn't know who he was) I think it's a decent hire. Was a decent San Jose State QB. Formally worked for Tedford as passing game coordinator , worked for Lovie Smith in Tampa Bay as QB coach.

Everyone sneaks flasks in, including alumni. To me it is more responsible for everyone is beer or alcohol is sold throughout the entire stadium but I'm also not an administrator and don't have the potential for lawsuits either. Back in the day it wouldn't be an issue but society has become sue happy and instead of taking responsibility for underage Billy being an idiot his parents would sue..IMO.

4-star WR Austin Osbourne (Mission Viejo, CA) has committed to Washington. His offers included ASU, Cal, Colorado, Utah, UCLA, Oregon, Michigan, Tenn, Miami, and NC.

Is that for 2017 or 18 class? Just want to make sure Coach Pete doesn't go all bitchy mode on him for looking elsewhere.

They are already selling the beer now so what is that change going to bring that suddenly puts them in a spot to get sued? You can buy beer at two different places open to the general public now. The issues are one can't take that many and the other is a walk to reach. Simply moving them to the same area as food sales doesn't change the status for suits IMO.

Jacob Sirmon has already talked about taking a visit to Louisville at some point and is a hard verbal to UW. He is a 5* for the '18 class. They had a WR go on an official just before the wrap up of this class as well. Both are high enough values there is no chance they lose a spot for taking one no matter what policy they have. Sirmon is one of the top pro style QB's coming out of high school next year. He can take 10 official visits and still have a slot waiting and a staff welcoming with open arms.

BTW, Jacob is going to take his official to Louisville because his uncle was just named DC for the team, but he has reiterated that it hasn't changed his desire to play for UW.

It's a full year out. Anyone who puts much stock into anything kids say that far away from signing is nuts.

"Ayyoyoy isn't close to a decent QB coich let alone an OC. Fuck him, fuck the Bucs, fuck the NFL, fuck everything. It all sucks. "

Chances a Duck Fan says something along these lines in the future?

ASU's offensive line coach left to coach at his alma mater a month after joining the ASU staff. The coaching staff has almost completely turned over over the last 2 years. Some a few times. Between the Norvells leaving to take HC jobs and a few going with to Memphis, Lindsey going back to be OC at Auburn (from Alabama), Alexander going to be WR coach at Notre Dame, Thomsen probably being told to look for a new job and taking the OL job at TCU and now his replacement peacing out within a month, it's basically Todd Graham, his now demoted BFF and former DC Peterson and a bunch of new people.

What's weird is they were almost all either promotions, lateral moves to better programs, going to alma mater or home town teams, etc., during the 2 losing years. While they were winning, it seemed like everyone was staying put.

And I still wore my UW gear around town all through '09. I've been there when they were at their highest and lowest which makes you appreciate what's happening now so much more.

But I haven't seen a single duck flag on a car or any of the other crap we used to see around the area up here when the ducks were flying high. I think I've seen maybe one or two cars with an O on it since last fall.
I wore my Ducks jersey every Saturday and Cards Jersey every Sunday last fall, so say what you will.
