The defense held their own but to compete with teams like Alabama the Huskies must improve their offensive line. Sarrell would be a big step in the right direction. When you sign one kid like this, others follow. Let's hope he decides to stay home and become the difference maker. He can make the NFL anywhere.

Should be getting to Sarell soon. Still think he's likely going Stanford, but what if he throws a curve ball and takes Bama or something else unpredicted?

No surprise, Sarell took Stanford.

At least it wasn't SC.

Well sometimes a Stanford education and a serious pipeline of putting their OLmen in the NFL is tough to beat...
He's the enemy now, but hard to hate on a kid going after his education and learning to play line at one of the best programs for doing so.

Unbelievable day for PAC12 recruiting.

5-star OT Foster Sarell (Graham, WA) commits to Stanford. :tsk: #1 Tackle prospect in the nation.

5-star CB Darney Holmes (Calabasas, CA) commits to UCLA. With family around the Pasadena area, big time local keep for Mora's crew. Ohio State was his other high choice.

4-star S Bubba Bolden (LV, NV) commits to USC.

4-star RB Eno Benjamin (Wylie, TX) commits to ASU.

4-star WR Jamire Calvin (LA, CA) commits to Oregon St. (Wow what a get for the Beavs)

Huge week for UCLA no doubt. Along with Darney Holmes, they also got commits from:

3-star WDE My-King Johnson (Tempe, AZ)
4-star ATH Rahyme Johnson (LA, CA)
3-star DT Martin Andrus (LA, CA)

Now comes the home stretch for many programs looking to finish strong going into LOI day. Expect Oregon and Nike to be working every possible option now that the Taggart staff is about completed to make a late hype splash.
One who could be back is 4-star CB Deommodore Lenoir. With the solid hires of Jim Leavitt as DC and Charles Clark & Keith Heyward as DB coaches, they can now go to work on getting him to recommit to Oregon by LOI. I think they're in good shape to pull that off.

It's not that hard. May stanford suck more than they have ever sucked before. Shaw to the NFL, then fired.

I feel both defenses dominated most of the game. The difference was 3 turnovers, in my opinion.

Show me a game where a team rushes for less than 50 yards and allows the other team over 250 yards and wins a game. You act like the turnovers were unforced and just happend . Everyone was saying before the game that Browning has a tendency to make mistakes when pressured. Alabama knew that too and capitalized when he did just that. You can't discount those turnovers and TD as some fluke. Thats was executing their plan. Their defense accounted for ten points. You're not going to win when your offense can't score as many. The Bama offense isnt anywhere close to as good as their defense but they can score some. Going to be interesting if they need to put up lots of points to keep up with Clemson. I don't think Hurts is a polished passer. Which is why they really didnt want to throw against your DBs.

Looks like Washington (Browning), USC (Darnold), and WSU (Falk) are all losing their 2016 #1 receivers. That will be one of the stories for sure going into fall camps.

Juju Smith Rec 70, yds 914, TD 10
John Ross Rec 81, yds 1150, TD 17
Gabe Marks Rec 89, yds 894, TD 13

Agreed, I just thought it was a solid game and the Huskies could have kept it close. However it's usually a fluke if a team gets 250+ on the ground and loses. As far as your comment on the passing game, It's spot on.

 I don't know , I kinda like Shaw.... He doesn't live in the press or talk crap about other schools keeps his focus on his school, plus I really wanted him to coach my Eagles when they were searching for a new HC

What I really don't get is all of the people tweeting at recruits after they commit and badmouthing a school, or their decision. They are just fucking kids, leave them alone.

Better to lose your top WR than your QB.
