That I could see happening. If you're Chip why rush , you're still getting paid. If Taggart doesn't impress then Oregon has someone waiting and if you're Chip it's the only place that you've had success so it's a place you can rebuild your reputation. To me he's damaged goods right now. No elite school would take him right now I think.
Coaches like to coach. It's a drug to them.

Easy to say sit back and enjoy the time off, but so many of these guys go crazy if they aren't working the game. Even for short periods.

I would guess he will sit out and wait for the next swing of big openings, but you can never rule out some quick return either taking a job, or one of those adviser type things even if it's for far less money. Many of these guys just have to work.

Anu Solomon transfers to Baylor. Doesn't Baylor already have a starting QB? I would assume Solomon wants playing time for his final year.

Which is the school that is essentially Under Armour U like Oregon is to Nike? That'd be classic if Chip went there.

Kelly should take a season or 2 off, kind of tighten up his philosophy as a coach and then look to coach again again (ala Pete Carroll).

The NFL and CFB aren't going anywhere and he'll have his pick of jobs.

You're probably right though, he will likely look to jump right back in the deep end.

Could be, I can't remember. They came out with those God awful Under Armour a few years ago that made every ugly ass uniform Nike has created for Oregon look like a million dollars.

Oregon WR Jalen Brown will finish a degree then transfer and have 2 years eligible to play

He is from Arizona so look for those schools to be in play but in conference transferring is trickier so perhaps he goes New Mexico, New Mexico State, UTEP, UNLV or Nevada

Since this is a PAC 12 thread thought I would post a little Rah, Rah Rah to my fellow PAC honks ---- Since the Playoff era began three years ago the PAC holds the best winning % in Bowl games. SEC, BIG 10 & BIG 12 have sent 1 program to the playoffs, The PAC and ACC have sent 2 different representatives to the dance - but the PAC has failed to win it. 2017/18 USC you guys gunna break through???

3* Marlon Williams from Alabama has decommited from USC and opened up his recruiting . There's a ton of Wrs ahead of him who haven't seen the field and USC is pursuing a couple of highly ranked WRs. Helton need to use this opening for a D lineman or O lineman.

Didn't he get hurt this year? Couldn't he win the job back at Arizona?

After reading the interweb it says Coach Joe turned down an offer from $C to coach their d line last off season, not sure if it's true but WTF if you turn down the premiere west coast program for the flash in the pan school? Any Ducks fans that wants Kelly over Taggart is nuts. Taggart is spending a billionaires money where it should be instead of a cuter looker weight set and pretty costumes to wear on Saturdays.

He did get hurt, but he heard footsteps every time he was in. Additionally, he is concussion prone.
