I know, I saw that. even with the injury I thought he'd go higher. I still have high hopes for him.
I wanted the raiders to grab him earlier in the 7th I was shocked he was still on the board but the are the raiders. Waited till last minute and he was gone. Even with the injury he's well worth the risk he's got the potential to be a top corner.

The Cactus Bowl is moving to Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, for the next three seasons, sources told ESPN.

The Cactus Bowl had been held at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, since 2006, but it had to be moved for the next two seasons because of Arizona State's stadium reconstruction. The bowl had previously been held at the Diamondbacks' home ballpark in downtown Phoenix from 2000 through 2005.

The Cactus Bowl pairs teams from the Big 12 and Pac-12. After the College Football Playoff semifinals and New Year's Six bowls are filled, the Cactus Bowl gets the fifth selection from the Big 12 and sixth selection from the Pac-12.

The Cactus Bowl also considered the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale and Arizona Stadium in Tucson, but both those sites are hosting or are in line to host other bowl games.

4-star Dual Threat QB Matt Fink (Glendora, CA) has committed to USC. He ranks in the Top10 for Dual QBs in the nation. His offers included Cal, Colorado, Washington, WSU, Notre Dame, and Boise St.

And in an interesting move, 4-star DE Isaac Garcia (Bellevue, WA) has decommitted from USC 2016 class and reopened his recruitment again. If this is the case, maybe he decided to play closer to home in the PACNW.

Please bare with Sparky as we kick ass on our renovated stadium. New era is on the way.

PAC12 conf will be holding their annual meetings this week at a resort in Arizona. ADs and coaches will be down there. The new head of football officiating will be announced.

Part of the discussions will of course revolve around current and future revenues. A current projection has each school receiving 23 mil of TV revenue for year 2017.

so did he get the insurance money, and can go to work and try to play? If that's how it worked out, wow, great move and good for him.

yes, he took out an injury related policy that paid out if he dropped past the 4th round in the draft due to injury. Good move on his part. Now he can get to work.....

Interesting bit of news from the spring meetings. Pac-12 coaches talked about setting up series of regional combines as alternative to satellite camps.

So,

What's the REAL significance of this?

:noidea:

That day the residents of Eugene had two choices. Watch a football practice or watch trees grow. Since the majority of the year the latter choice is the only thing available for entertainment, they chose to watch the Ducks practice. So there you go.
