I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking Mannion is more NFL ready today than Hundley. Watched both for a few years and the arm+decision making of Mannion is amazing while Hundley is probably more athletic and versatile. I'm not saying Hundley doesn't make good decisions or have an arm, but I just think Mannion showed more in those areas.

Wiz the Rams traded down to get this extra 3rd round pick (Another 6th too) But to me, it seems wasted because Sean is a lot like Case Kneenum. (Only taller)

I just thought Hundley/Gurley/Defense (Brett with a clip board for a year) could be used a lot like Wilson/Lynch/Defense.

Aside from Cooper it's been another disappointing raiders draft for me. Passing on Gregory in the 2 Nd rd then going TE in the third :L

Great landing spot for Mannion.

It is. He has a legit shot at getting starts there. There was a lot of talk of Dallas taking him, but Jones loves Romo and will ride him out till he retires. Rams are a better situation. Fisher is building a beast.

With Hundley still on the boards, just a little disappointed as a Rams/Bruins fan...

I'm not sure Hundley will make it as a qb in the NFL. The main knock on him that I saw was that he lacks "quarterback instincts." However, I could easily see him being like Antwan Randle-El and being successful at another position and still available as an emergency backup qb.

To be successful as an NFL qb, he'll probably need a good 3 years holding a clipboard. If he gets picked up by a team with an established, older qb like the Pats, Bronco's, Saints or Chargers where there will be no pressure and he can just learn for 2-4 seasons, it will greatly increase his chances at being successful.

yes, wished Cowboys would have grabbed him. Romo's gonna sneeze during practice one day, and that'll be it. And no one waiting in the wings.

I feel bad for Cooper, dude is so talented but don't like that he went to a team that drafted Shelton.

Hundley drafted by GB. Not a bad destination. He'll be groomed by a good set of coordinators.

He is the best "pro-style" QB in this draft. 6'6" and 230 lbs he should have no problem finding targets IF protected.
Thanks buddy, I not only needed that pep talk from you but was looking for it. I thought you would have dogged me out a bit more about it though...

You know it's not that I don't like Sean, moreso I thought the risk/reward wasn't there for the extra trade-down & late third round pick.

I'd rather see them Rams go with another position of need rather than grab the safe QB with the extra pick.

They already have Foles, Keenum & Davis on the roster all who have won NFL games so the pick there at three I would have like to see a more of a risk pick at QB with a different style & skill set from the prototypical pocket passers they already have.
