Because he is a graduate transfer or will be I think so, as long as he does actually graduate (He is on pace to do so) AND UCLA has to approve the transfer and they are expected to do so...

You know its the off season when weird ideas pop into your head.
Clearly it woulndt work and clearly this is just a hypathetical type talking point for no other reason than something to talk about.
what if they restructured the divisions every year based on last years results to make for some sort of competative balance?

Say for example Division A and Division B
A gets Oregon since they were champs and B Arizona as runners up
then you have 2 teams UCLA and Arizona State at 10-3. UCLA won that so lets put them in B and Arizona State in A. this way it kind of changes up as you compare 2 teams the better of the 2 isnt always in the same division.
Now you have 9-4 Utah and USC where Utah won. so Utah to A and USC to B
Stanford and Washington with 8 wins Stanford with the win. Stanford to B Washington to A
Cal and Oregon State 5-7 Cal wins Cal to A OSU to B
leaving WSU and Colorado at the bottom and WSU to B and Colorado to A
So this coming season would change to
A Oregon, Arizona State, Utah, Washington, Cal, Colorado
B Arizona, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Oregon State, WSU

Doest this seem like it would give things more balance or no?

Pair the conferences.
Pac 12 with MW Boise and Colorado State up, Oregon State and Colorado down.
Big 10 and MAC Northern Illinios and toledo up, Indiana and Purdue down.
Big XII and SunBelt Georgia Southern and Lafayette up, Iowa State and Kansas down.
ACC and American Memphis and Cinic up, Syracuse and WF down.
SEC and CUSA Marshall and LA Tech up, Vandy and Kentucky down.
